It was hard to tell in your video: is there a good place for the belayer to anchor? Seems like the base is pretty narrow with a steep drop off.
You did that with out ropes I did
I don't remember a bolted anchor up there what chump did that?
My younger brother and I climbed part of it back about 1958 when we were kids. We were on the easier side, not the face.
this made my palms and feet sweat and hurt
Thanks for this amazing views of this rock. Love this tower. Take care and god bless my friends.
Yo big boys ,explain it me
Smoking a Marlboro ,what do think Ringo
Ropes puzzy
You know how insane that is
You fall you die
Using ropes
Mid. Could have just flown up. 2/10 climb.
Just Joshin. After watching this I’m making plans to go to the tower. Keep getting to that summit, and being fuckin rad.
So you get to the top and give literally no footage?? No walk around? 👌👎
use helicopter😂😂😂😂
Makes my knees into icy jello pain watching this! 🥶
nice footage, but an intro showing it's location and what it looks like from a distance would be nice
It's a 5.7 climb. It's mostly face climbing. There are very few hand jams. Why tape up? Overkill much?
Sun protection
Page 276 Sept. 10 -- North Spokane, Wash. A U. S. Air Force jet tanker crashed into a canyon on Mount Kit Carson, killing all 44 persons aboard.
It's amazing to me that anyone could have the sack to do that. It makes me shake just watching the video. Unreal.
Overused tape, breath, gear, clip clip.
what's the route name?
Did you have gear leftover every pitch? Or was the extra gear necessary
I did that without ropes me and my partner Ringo, it was insane ,better control your fear
i would have been pissing my pants in fear
Well done. We’ve all been there once. Go back after a season or two and you’ll have the time of your life. It’s a superb climb for the grade.
cool
DOESN'T....EVEN....LOOK....FUN!🤢
Why, oh, why didn’t you take more time to film the top surface?
I love the view. I see them every day, never thought about climbing them. I would like to make it to the Boner one time.
11:26 no shoes!!😱
@nwo detox demn
Watching this from amsterdam in 2021 , and realising its not even 100 k And 9 years ago.. , with my heart dropping... means this vidi is underrated 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👑💫 i would never do..or even pull this out.. great job guys
Wait, What!? Go BACK!!! You were barely up there for 10 seconds!!! C'mon man!!
Probably the worst clip I've seen on this hike.
Focus on cardio at the gym
When you're following why is there no gear in? Did they basically free solo the pitch?
Where’s that master point on that anchor!
Uhm, the two opposite and opposes locking biners.. no BFK so it could self equalize. There’s lots of appropriate forums to debate self equalizing vs less extension you could look into.
Climbed this yesterday, traverse rope has been replaced. Bolts and everything super secure, just make sure you have a 70m rope and tie off the end.
Good job
Nice video! I was just there and uploaded a few videos! Thanks so much!
How do get your ropes and stuff back after you're down? Do they just stay up there for the next climber?
Great job, great view. I just went there last weekend, didn't climb this tho. I always wondered, how do you get your ropes off there after you're done? If you lock into those rings that are bolted in the rock, how do you go back to remove your rope?
you remove the carabiners and put the rope through the ring. at the bottom you just pull the rope back through the ring and bingo, no gear left on the route!
@@nicholasbuzzell I would have to see it in action
Was def trunk of a million year old tree!!!
I can just hear the tendinitis in my hand screaming *"NNNOOOPE!"*
Sountrack ran me off
I went up about a quarter of the way , on the left side 25 yrs ago. Far enough for me. No ropes
What kind of camera are you using? It's normally expremely difficult for me to find any fast-motion biking footage without the extraneous blur. Impressive!
Nice vid!
