PS Something I forgot: universities often take on their CELTA graduates as teachers (after gaining experience) AND they pay the best rates in the ELT industry, so yet another positive!
Thank you for this video. I hadn't previously considered doing a CELTA at a university but your video has now given me some 'food for thought'!. Thank you.
Unfortunately I can't seem to find a university for the dates I want to do. I was wondering if you could give some advice please. With all the costs of getting to London expenses tickets etc I'm looking upwards of £2500 in cost but I have found one in Istanbul for £2000. Do people hiring look at just the celta or the place also? I've seen a lot of people go to Europe or Asia to do the celta. Is location very important or more to do with the celta itself? Thank you
Hi Waqar. I can suggest you have a look at this article about where to take the CELTA: celtahelper.com/where-to-take-the-celta-course/ Please also note that I am really talking about universities in the UK so I can't guarantee that other countries offer similar facilities 👍🏻👍🏻

Yes, it's quite subtle but I'd say universities are well suited to a CELTA course for three reasons mentioned. Good luck with it 👍
Great advice!!
As usual, very informative!!!
Good to hear that, Dona!
