My boiler is doing the same but when I take the damper out of the circuit it shuts the whole system down. I read I need to jumper a couple pins on the female cable attachment to bypass the damper? Did you do that?
Hi, I'm not a tech, and they keep updating systems. so I'm not sure what you have. But I disconnected the 110 box cable and just took it out of the system. I didn't jump anything. Make sure your damper is in the open position. Sounds dumb l know. But you may be causing the safety switch (by the flue) to shut down the boiler. Sorry if this doesn't help. Try gray furnace man videos. He's a pro.
I'm not a professional, but disconnect the bx cable from the damper. There's a manual switch on the damper to hold it open. MAKE SURE IT'S OPEN. If boiler works it's the damper. Good luck
@@royboy3597 I've learned a lot about boilers in the past couple days but I don't know about pilot lights or thermacouplers yet. So far we think it's the low water cutoff or the emergency heat valve.
You're the man! It's doing the trick, thanks!
Thanks, good luck. Stay warm! LOL
Thanks Roy, it's worth a shot.
I just cut the brown and black wires to see if it did the trick.

My water boiler keeps shutting down. We have hot water heat
Hi Nate, I'm a guy like you, trying to figure out what is going on. Maybe it's your thermocoupler? Does the pilot stay lit?

Damn just get a plumber.
