Great cover version and extremely close to the original. Well done for making it DAW-less as this would've been how Kraftwerk would've had to create it back in 1977 but without MIDI of course! Also great insight into how it was made so thanks for sharing that info. A little known fact: this was the track which inspired and influenced New Order to create "Your Silent Face"! This is what Stephen Morris said about it: "We’ve always loved Kraftwerk. YSF’s working title was 'the Kraftwerk one' (KW1) we were trying to do something like the intro of Europe Endless. That kind of sparkly sound. Bernard worked really hard getting the synth parts just right".
Hi dude, thank you very much for the appreciation! And... yes: the in both EE and YSF almost the same delay technique has been used. I never noticed this similarity and you gave me the opportunity to listen again that New Order song with a different ear :^)
Hi Leandro, thank you for the appreciation! Good choice the acoustic guitar: these days I'm starting to use it again, in order to make some combined guitar+synth videos
Hi Mark, Neon Lights is on my to-do list! The next video will be a Moroder piece from Scarface. Next I’ll return back to Kraftwerk :^) Thank you for the appreciation 🙏
Thank you for uploading this great video, and this is so fun. I am studying Structural and Earthquake, and both need to know sound. Would I ask you if you could make a different video in the same manner? I would like to see the difference in waveform between high and low sound.
First of all thank you for listening and commenting! Second: I already made another video with the same video effect: th-cam.com/video/25msx-HmT4g/w-d-xo.html
@@AlessandroGiancane Thank you for your reply. Actually... I already saw what you showed. This is also a nice video, but it's different which is the representation of the waveform that I want. I want the first one. Sorry to bother you.
Thank you very much for the comment and the appreciation. About the sounds, especially the percussive ones, it's easy for them to sound very different on different listening devices. This is unfortunately the big problem I run into every time I make a cover: trying to get a decent mix that can sound decent when listened to with speakers other than my KRKs. Then there's the issue of YT compression (and all streaming platforms), which is really a pain... Anyway, comments like yours encourage me to do better in the future! Thanks again :^)
Bardzo, bardzo dobrze to brzmi. Bliskie oryginału Kraftwerk a jednocześnie świeże. Ciekawe jak by to zagrała orkiestra symfoniczny? Pozdrowienia z Polski.
Hi Wawoj, thank you for the appreciation! An orchestra version of this song (of other songs) from Kraftwerk? Never heard anything like that, but it could be surprisingly cool :^)
Ralph would be chuffed to bits with this mate.well done

My favourite Kraftwerk music played wonderfully!! I loved and accompanied you with my acoustic guitar. Thanks so much!

I like it!
Thanks for the appreciation, my friend 🙏
Fantastic rendition. More please. Neon lights?

Beautifully done, thank you! Such a lovely sound and really great for me to find another musician who does not use a DAW! 😃
Thank you my dawless-friend! 😂

Hi _amy, thank you for the appreciation! I have some other Kraftwerk cover in the pipeline :^)

Very nice work! Your high hat/snare is too harsh, in my opinion, but still better than I could ever dream to do; so you get my highest praise!

Thanks for the appreciation @g-muni5855 🙏
I’d say this is way more complicated than any DAW, but kudos on a great rendition!
Ah ah ah, probably you are right regarding the DAW: one day, perhaps, I will try to learn one :-) Thanks for the appreciation bro!
Sounds great! A bit more bouncy and hifi than the original. Nice! I had a Jupiter 6 and loved it! Roland had great colour schemes for their Jupiters.
Glad you like it! Bouncy? Yes, I agree, even if it was not intentional.. It feels like a sort of.. (electronic) ballad to me :-)
Excellent! Is it possible to create this beautiful track on the Roland Juno x?
Hi Marco, very glad you liked it! Never used the Juno x, but I think it’s quite possible, as long as the Juno X has a similar choir sound
@@AlessandroGiancaneprobably it has,because it has over 4000 presets 😬
Quality.
Glad you liked it :^)

Thank you for the appreciation dude :^)
A rare track by Kraftwerk. Almost sounds like Depeche copied them for Wagging Tongue but slowed down.
Hi @mjg1544, the synth arpeggio in Wagging Tongue was made exactly with the same technique.. keen ears! ;^)
@@AlessandroGiancane so it wasn’t me imagining that? Thank you.
