His BTUs were very elevated, it's obovious his metering device was out of alignment.and his Ambien temp was low.

and as qualified B737 pilot i can say that my AC is not full of dust because i forgot to clean the filter
Yet its statistically still the safest way to travel.
Thank you well trained pilots, industrious ground crews, vigilant control tower personnel, and brilliant aerospace engineers.
Very safe, but not quite as safe as train travel!

@emmapaget6427 plane is literally like 6-7x safer than train but OK (in terms of crashes both are equal in safety iirc cause its rare for either rail or plane to actually crash catastrophically with tons of deaths
I didn't realize there was so much input on the yoke to keep it steady.
Sergei Krivenkov / it’s because they were flying so slow with the flaps out. If you moved the yoke like that 100 knots faster you would be blacking out
@@-caesarian-6078, ah okay I see. I'm not too knowledgeable with the mechanics of flight. But, that makes sense. Sort of like steering input in a car when driving slow vs. driving fast.

Boeing is a lot more work (real flying) vs the Airbus which takes most of that movement out for you.
I remember my first flight lesson, the instructor said “you have control now but be careful because at a higher speed the control is more sensiti-“ and I grabbed it causing it to jump dramatically. At least I was only a beginner and he was able to take that into consideration!

Low visibility and strong crosswinds. I find these approaches more interesting than approaches in good meteorological conditions. Sure its more frightening to the PAX, but man nothing beats the feeling of landing a plane at those conditions.
I admire how graceful the captain guided his craft to the ground. Truly a mark of a real professional at work.

WOW! I had no idea how much input was required from the pilot to land a plane. That control stick was moving around all over the place. I imagined a much more relaxed and serene environment. Good job!

Wow 😮 I used to fly light aircraft for pleasure, but in daylight and mostly clear conditions. This guy wins my respect big time. The crosswind alone made this a difficult landing.

For those wondering why he’s moving the yoke a lot: the flight controls are more effective at higher speeds than slower speeds. When landing, the plane is slow, so the pilots need to move the yoke more to get the same input

It's because he's flying very slowly. If you drive at 10 kph you also have to make big movements on the wheel.

My opinion is with the stunning number of take off and landings as there are every day around the world it’s clear the Pilots do not get near the credit they deserve... Im a private pilot of a PC-12 Pilatus and simply acknowledge the “commercial” guys handling the aircraft in much more tense conditions than we just saw on a regular basis deserve all the respect for keeping tens of thousands of people safe .. the typical passenger has no clue the fear that any pilot has to control until the wheels touch the runway....
My instructors said from day 1.. “if your not a little scared , your getting to comfortable and better check yourself .. lol.. I always remind myself to just breath .. that’s half the battle .. lol cheers!!
