Let's take a closer look at how Covidence works. The first step is to invite your team members to join your review. An email invitation will be sent, and the reviewer will be automatically added to your review upon acceptance. With Covidence, collaboration is seamless-even if your team members are not affiliated with your organization.
📥 Importing References
To import references, simply click 'Import' and upload your file. Covidence will automatically identify duplicates, letting you review how many were removed. Our machine learning features save you time and keep you in control. If your review is in medical and health sciences, you can automatically exclude studies that are not randomized controlled trials before screening, with an accuracy of over 95%.
📝 Title and Abstract Screening
Title and abstract screening is as simple as clicking yes, no, or maybe. Whether you’re at your desk or on the move, you can quickly screen from anywhere. Machine learning sorts studies by relevance based on your previous voting behavior, speeding up the process and keeping your team in control. You can also manage conflicts, filter by tag, add notes, and move relevant studies to full-text screening.
📄 Full-Text Screening and PRISMA
Full-text screening follows a similar process where you choose to include or exclude studies. When excluding, you’ll select a reason which will show in your PRISMA flow chart. Customize exclusion reasons in settings for a tailored review process.
📊 Data Extraction
Ready to extract data? Customize our template or start from scratch. Extraction 1 is optimized for intervention reviews with a PICO(T) structure and exports to RevMan. Extraction 2 is perfect for non-intervention reviews with flexible data collection.
🤝 Consensus and Quality Assessment
For dual-reviewer extraction, Covidence guides you to complete consensus by highlighting conflicts. Easily select the final decision for each data point. You can also assess the risk of bias using customizable templates.
📤 Exporting
