A few have even walked away from their posts, abandoning the battlefield altogether. While Ukraine presses on with its incursion into Russia’s Kursk region, its troops are still losing precious ground along the country’s eastern front - a grim erosion that military commanders blame in part on poorly trained recruits drawn from a recent mobilization drive, as well as Russia’s clear superiority in ammunition and air power. “Some people don’t want to shoot. They see the enemy in the firing position in trenches but don’t open fire. ... That is why our men are dying,” said a frustrated battalion commander in Ukraine’s 47th Brigade. “When they don’t use the weapon, they are ineffective.” The recently conscripted Ukrainians are a far cry from the battle-hardened fighters who flocked to join the war in the first year of the full-scale invasion. The new troops lack even a minimal level of training. They described having to plan ops with infantry who are unable to shoot targets and uninformed about basic topography. Some recruits simply lacked faith in the battle plans of their superiors and walked away from prepared positions. “The main problem is the survival instinct of newcomers. Before, people could stand until the last moment to hold the position. Now, even when there is light shelling of firing positions, they are retreating,” said a soldier with the 110th Brigade. “No, there are motivated people, but they are just very, very few,”

From what I can make out of this is that Ukris doing small unit maneuvers and DRG so a lot of this blue is just where they moved through not necessarily holding a strong line Now Ukraine supposedly has 1/3 of its entire army gathered up north it’s like they’re just flooding the place with fast mobile units without regard to the fact that most guys going in might not come out. Being ruthless and stooping to insanity can get results but it’s brutal for the men
The seizure of territory is when you have squeezed out or destroyed enemy forces to resist in a given territory, the fact that the NATO PMCs Ukraine runs through potato fields and small forests and hides from drones and artillery of Russia in the Kursk region, sometimes taking pictures in certain areas does not say that they have captured this territory, since there is no full control and force The Russian army is still also present in this territory.
maybe we can use some machine learning to take info from all mappers, info from accredited trustworthy commenters, a smattering of open source comments from the public and official government press releases, and with three years worth of data we should be able to get our ai bot to spit out mapping forecasts weeksinadvance with hopefully little error. maybe wyatt is secretly working on this to help some goverment agency you never know.
NATO and the USA put Ukraine in a quagmire. It is a big mistake for Ukraine to attack Russian territory. In our eyes, he has fallen into an unfair situation in his just cause. Even if they gain temporary territory, the Russians will eventually stop them and save their lands from occupation. They also weakened the Ukrainian Defense, and the peace process was cancelled. Zelenskiy will be remembered in history as the man who destroyed the country. Get well soon to Ukraine.
Kursk, Kursk, Kursk, a little too Kursk for my taste, just fuels the fire. The Bering Strait is an ideal place to measure the forces of the USA and the Russian Federation, they have no populated places, so when they want war so much, here is a good idea as far as possible from populated places. that war is over my head, it will last at least 10 years, you will have material for reports for at least 10 years, unfortunately...

Ukraine is the poorest european nation on russias own border and its kicking russias naval forces but and has already made russia s 400 and s500s useless
The 38K highway highlights the problem with the mapping on the Kursk front. There is no possible way the Russians could have held positions in Malaya Loknya for two weeks without resupply. Which suggests that the 38K highway can not possibly be under Ukrainian control. It was colored under Ukrainian control by mappers becuase Ukrainian DRG elements were geolocated driving along the highway, but a few DRG elements does not mean control.
Before just throwing troops at an area the size of Kursk like Zelensky, it pays to decide how to break up the UA forces & shape the battleground. The fact they took a little time organising a counter attack shows they looked carefully at UA positions & watched how they were moving up with support.
Funny you talking about cope when you are the cope master 😂 If one Ukr vehicle is destroyed, you say this proove that they control the whole area, but you ask for the Russian side a photo of the last street of the town to admit they have controll over it. 😂 8:54

It’ll Be interesting to see if Ukraine manages to pull a Stalin and seriously damage Russian food security. Kursk and Belgorod are the major food producers in Russia after all, and with harvest season coming, I’m not sure the Russian economy can take increased food cost. Or maybe more poor people not being fed will encourage them to take the Russian government’s money to join the front, who knows? Only Putin can stop this madness now…
Your thoughts do not make sense, since these regions are not the major regions for agricultural/food production in Russia. The major / the largest are: Rostov, Krasnodar, Stavropol, Volgograd, Voronezh regions. These regions do not even border Ukraine (earlier, the Rostov region bordered, but now - it does not).
That's highly doubtful. Even if you were correct in your assumption that the Kursk and Belgorod oblast are major food production areas, Kursk Oblast is approximately 30,000 sq km and Belgorod 27,000 sq km in area. They're both immense compared to the area the Ukrainian troops are present in, not to mention the huge amount of troops it would take to capture and occupy that area.
@@DenDez3000 They are not the biggest, but they are major grain producing areas. With the current international sanctions, imports will be too expensive to make up for any lost production, leading to increased prices. For the average Russian income, and the 50% who make less than that, increased prices will be felt. It's too soon to see if there will be externally noticeable effects, but at least internally Russia will see increased levels of food insecurity for the many homeless refugees fleeing the new front. From what I can make out of this is that Ukris doing small unit maneuvers and DRG so a lot of this blue is just where they moved through not necessarily holding a strong line
Now Ukraine supposedly has 1/3 of its entire army gathered up north it’s like they’re just flooding the place with fast mobile units without regard to the fact that most guys going in might not come out.

Can Zelensky sleep every night knowing that the Russians are advancing westwards?
maybe we can use some machine learning to take info from all mappers, info from accredited trustworthy commenters, a smattering of open source comments from the public and official government press releases, and with three years worth of data we should be able to get our ai bot to spit out mapping forecasts weeksinadvance with hopefully little error. maybe wyatt is secretly working on this to help some goverment agency you never know.

Kursk is and was a joke.
Kursk, Kursk, Kursk, a little too Kursk for my taste, just fuels the fire. The Bering Strait is an ideal place to measure the forces of the USA and the Russian Federation, they have no populated places, so when they want war so much, here is a good idea as far as possible from populated places. that war is over my head, it will last at least 10 years, you will have material for reports for at least 10 years, unfortunately...

hello everyone, thank god he doesn't play the 'emotional damage' meme every time the ukusapsyclopshybrid troops claim they captured some tiny hamlet. the 84 'cities' controlled in kursk is major cope. also am i the only one who see's strange outlines and shapes on the map representing objects, bodyparts and even faces of well known people ?
if you look carefully at the thumbnail it looks like a tadpole trying to get to the grocery store.
Defense politics aaaasia 😆
Ukraine is the poorest european nation on russias own border and its kicking russias naval forces but and has already made russia s 400 and s500s useless

The 38K highway highlights the problem with the mapping on the Kursk front.
There is no possible way the Russians could have held positions in Malaya Loknya for two weeks without resupply. Which suggests that the 38K highway can not possibly be under Ukrainian control. It was colored under Ukrainian control by mappers becuase Ukrainian DRG elements were geolocated driving along the highway, but a few DRG elements does not mean control.
I am surprised it took the Russians about 2 weeks bring in the real army
Before just throwing troops at an area the size of Kursk like Zelensky, it pays to decide how to break up the UA forces & shape the battleground.
The fact they took a little time organising a counter attack shows they looked carefully at UA positions & watched how they were moving up with support.
Trump 2024
Its obvious that you are suffering every thime you must admit that Rusians are advansing but try to be brave .😂
Funny you talking about cope when you are the cope master 😂 If one Ukr vehicle is destroyed, you say this proove that they control the whole area, but you ask for the Russian side a photo of the last street of the town to admit they have controll over it. 😂 8:54
You're misinterpreting

I just don't expect anyone in Russia to benefit from this war except for a handful of corrupt officials
Russian land grab is our era of colonialism….interesting people support colonialism in 2024. How times have changed….
