These look ancient compared to the High Speed trains you see here ,on You Tube, from Europe/Japan. I went to Melbourne , once ,by train at 60 kph & very rough .
When I first visited Sydney the coal trains were electric hauled and the signals up towards Newcastle were semaphore. The last year I visited the coal trains were diesel and the signals were standard LED.
Hi! Have you ever heard of a TH-cam channel called Transport of Perth? He is a bit like you but in Perth also I am coming to Sydney next month!!!! I haven’t been there in almost a year and can’t wait to go on the light rail again and showcase the ferries to my Perth viewers who are not familiar with light rail 80s trains and such a great ferry system love your vids hope to bump into you while in sydney

Xplorer train was NP24 from Armidale and Moree to Central and the XPT was NT31 from Central to Brisbane Roma St
