Pretty cool! 🥶 I think your hood method would work for several different stitches with a little tweaking. 🤔 I crochet for charity and this is going in my archive of patterns...the need is so great. I bet made in a variegated/shading yarn would be amazing. Thank you for a nice tutorial. 🤗
Absolutely 💯 this would work with pretty much every stitch and yarn. And it would definitely also look awesome with a shading yarn. The options are endless. 🤗 I love that you are crocheting for charity! I should really think about giving away a lot of my pieces that I don't use anymore for charity. That could be very helpful. Thank you for sharing and making me aware of this 🙌🤗
Hi, I thought about it but I that way I would've gotten my first row looking different than all the other rows. In addition, a foundation sc row does not always work depending on the stitch that follows is. The used rocking stitch is much tighter and spans over multiple stitches. In the end the foundation sc row would've been wavy because it is wider than the rocking stitch. I hope this helps 🤗
You are awesome for this, thank you for sharing!!! Going to start making this right now 😊💕
Excellent! It's a super great and easy piece. Have fun making it 🤗

Why not just use a foundation sc?
