Lovely selection of colors! BPC is one of my favorite ink brands and I have been collecting them for several years now. The you Magnolia Mirage you swatched here is one of my more recent favorites. Some of my other favorites from them include Bellflower, Eroded Bronze, Antique Sepia, Boysenberry, Starfruit, and Glassmith. They make such well behaved inks and have so many lovely and interesting colors. I do wish they shipped internationally so more people could try them out.
I was thrilled to come across your video as I LOVE BPC inks. I have 50+ bottles of ink and more than 3/4 of them are from BPC. I don't think this company gets enough recognition for their inks so I'm happy your video focuses on them. I also got a look at a line I've been curious about by watching your video, so thank you for that.
@mydandeliondiaries emails work as well lol. As far as the fountain pen companion it's pretty simple. I was introduced to it through watching Jannah Lyon's videos.
I love the four BPC inks I have! Rotted cork and weeping willow look super similar to Ina Ho (to me). I love this style of ink swatching that you do!! Thanks 😊
Love this selection! It's nice to see some of the lesser-known BCP inks. One of my favorites is 'Marigold'. It's a beautiful red/coral with amazing shading. I highly recommend you try it!
Bah!!! Making me so sad I live in Canada 😭 these and the previous samples you swatches are all gorgeous. I’m same as you in my obsession with green, especially the mossy olive-y greens.
I'm so hopeful they will offer international shipping some day!! The olive-y greens are definitely some of the best ink colors out there 😉 glad we can share that in common!
I love Birmingham Pen Co. inks. I have quite a few but look at their selection all the time to find more. I love Pop Art Purple aand use it all the time. It is glorious. And the teals, blues, browns…wow, just the best colors.
I have pens dedicated to Interstellar Bronze and Tesla Coil. Literally always inked up. I just got in Violet Sea Snail and Provence Lavender. Fighting Fish and Freshwater Bog are next on the hitlist. Theres just so many.
I got into fountains pens and inks through line and wash watercolor, so I concentrate on their Everlasting series of waterproof/highly water resistant inks. I love Black Ice (a muted teal) and Iron Girder (muted rusty purple). Also have Pincushion Moss (a natural green). Going to get Dewberry in my next order. I’m in Pennsylvania so glad to order from a fairly local company since most of my other waterproof sketching inks are German.
You know how I feel about BPC.. hehe. I have been using the Canterbury Raisin and Distressed Leather this month and I am loving them! I just did some ink mixing with the Distressed Leather and the Salmon. Pretty cool Makes me want to mix more inks. The pitted nickel reminds me of patina. I love so many of these colors. Okay all of them. The Salmon as you said is a bit too neon but is awesome to mix with other colors. Thank you so much for sharing. I have been building my list for my next order.
What a great selection. If someone was starting out and they got all those inks, they would have a great choice for all the colours. I haven't really found a purple ink I like yet, but Canterbury Raisin is very pretty. So many good inks there!
Thank you! I didn't think about the colors I picked having a little bit from each category haha. They have another purple that I want to try called "Pop Art Purple" and it looks so bright and pigmented. I'm interested in trying so many of their inks haha
Wow each one is stunning in its on way! I haven’t tried any BPC inks yet but I grabbed a screenshot to be able to add them all to my ink wishlist…thanks for sharing, I have enjoyed each one of your ink videos and look forward to them! 🫶
I've been working my way through your ink swatching videos and am loving them! Two things (that might be outdated since this video is a few weeks old): The green-rust color that shows up on brass items is called "patina"! Second, the Sailor USA: Maryland ink is a fun yellow-brown that I've definitely enjoyed writing with lately. I have it in a broad nib at the moment because I love the way it pools, but just wanted to share! :D
I wonder if we put a couple drops of Weeping Willow into Rotted Cork if it’ll give us Ina-ho vibes 🤔 haha I really need to grab some Birmingham Pen Co inks !! These are all gorgeous 😍
ohhh some of these look so different to the swatches on the website! oak moss especially, i wouldnt have really considered until seeing this. my only chance of getting birmingham pen co inks right now is from other people who've bought them and doing ink trades ;; i hope someday they'll open up international shipping because theyre one of my top ink brands for colours i like
Oh, I just really enjoyed seeing all of these inks; it appears we have a lot of the same taste! Also, where did you get the washi you used on your pages? I.LOVE.IT!!!
I don't have 173 to compare, but I think the 173 is a little lighter and has shading from the swatches I've seen. The Salmon is very bright and doesn't have a lot of shading, I'm really tempted to mix the Salmon with the Magnolia or maybe one of the blues and see what happens!
I have 5 I received for Christmas and cannot wait to add more! How does one find people to do sample swaps with? I have Ladybug, Tiger Lily, Solar Storm, Salt Water Taffy, and Teaberry Ice Cream. Their colors are so stunning!
I wonder how Canterbury raisin compares to Rose Noir. And Distressed leather to Sailor Texas. Based on the look in the video, mixing weeping willow with goldfish might give you a good ina ho dupe.

Thank you! I'm jealous of your BPC collection haha 😅
@natashajohnson5776 I love BPC, too! I just did a chromatography video of a few of their inks recently and they are so interesting and complex!
Stormwater runoff is the BPC vervion of ina ho!!! It is an exact match to me. I would love to send you a sample for you to try!
😍 That would be amazing! I'd be happy to send samples back 🥰 if there is one you want to try!
@@mydandeliondiaries do you have a fountain pen companion page? That might be easiest for you to browse mine. I'm actually updating it right now.
@@abiewaltz1209 I do not. How would I set that up? I usually just swap emails haha. Having a page would be so helpful!

Birmingham inks, new to me, and this video helped me see why all the excitement.
They are one of my current favorite brands!

such a beautiful collection of inks - hopefully, one day they'll ship to Australia or find an Aussie distributor!
I hope so too! The demand for these internationally is there.
I have pens dedicated to Interstellar Bronze and Tesla Coil. Literally always inked up. I just got in Violet Sea Snail and Provence Lavender. Fighting Fish and Freshwater Bog are next on the hitlist. Theres just so many.
There are so many!!!! I want to try them all haha but my wallet disagrees.

Yes they are! I am always in awe of the color and the performance!

Yes!! My list is already too long too 😂
So many pretty colors~
I love Canterbury Raisin & Antique Sepia ~
Weirdly, Green is not on my fav colors list, but green inks are my 2nd fav 😅
Both great choices!! I feel that way about brown. I don't have many feelings towards the color itself, but brown ink I love 😂
@mydandeliondiaries me tooo! Still looking for that perfect brown shade 😅

Oooh... I'm intrigued by the Antique Sepia....
It is so fun! I love the coolness of the green.
@@mydandeliondiaries I might be shopping for new inks on their website... 😬
BPC inks are great.
Byzantium is really close to Robert Oster Charcoal, at least on screen. Both in grey/purple shading and off-black hue.
Oooo thank you for the recommendation!
I love rotted cork and oak moss the most ❤
They are so fun!! I can't wait to play around with them some more.

Thank you! I got it from @thecoffeemonsterzco it was part of her June 2023 preorder Pride Fundraiser!
Thank you for this. We can't get BPC inks in the UK yet. How does BPC's Antique Sepia compare to Troublemaker's Kelp Tea?
Kelp Tea is much dryer and has a stronger "green" to it. The Antique Sepia is a bit more brown and has a better flow in my opinion.
I'm curious how the Salmon compares to Sailor Ink Studio 173
I don't have 173 to compare, but I think the 173 is a little lighter and has shading from the swatches I've seen. The Salmon is very bright and doesn't have a lot of shading, I'm really tempted to mix the Salmon with the Magnolia or maybe one of the blues and see what happens!

Yay!! Love the BPC collection so far. 🥰
Oh those colors are also good to mix with their other inks. They have recipes on their site and several of those are in their mixes.
