That flute sample has alot of character. Like how you flipped through some of the other variations. Overall nice work homie! Salute!

I love using that sp1200 ring effect too.

@@DJDigitalJosh i wish there was a way to control the amount but other than that i love it. i have a guitar pedal that you can get a similar sound out of but i never take the time to set it up for the mpc. i'll have to start doing that. gonna check your channel out tonight too

@@thomasfrom91 I use an rca patch bay for a lot of signal flow switching. I like it. Yes if you could adjust the fx amount & change the order of fx on the mpc it would be better. I mainly use computer, turntables, 404, 2 synths, & mpc. I wish I had 2 mpc1s. I could do a lot with 2.

@@thomasfrom91 get a dedicated Ring Modulator (a.k.a 4-quadrant multiplier) with dedicated mod/carrier control!
There are even passive options in the eurorack modular world, so you can get started easily without chipping in for an expensive power supply and have all the modulation/control you could need (and then some, depending on the module and how deep or experimental it goes).

You could also get a similar sound even easier with simple AM modulation (basically FM synthesis using audio-rate mod source, except you're modulating amplitude instead of pitch frequency).
Or a similar sound with samples can be made using a simple sample & hold switched at audio rates (square wave oscillator at high frequencies/pitch, and changing frequency adjusts how large the "bits" are. Boom; analog "bit-crusher").
