i found this one for like $100 more than the black one when i was looking and i figured it'd hold its value more but mainly i just love the color scheme

you can sometimes get the old mpc studios for under $100 if you have a computer to run it with. got one on ebay for $60 and another at a pawn shop for $100. you can find the mpd even cheaper than that but you'd have to check compatibility with the mpc beats / mpc studio software. mpc beats software is free

i got mine on ebay for £120 everything works great on it basically mint condition and it was way cheaper than the 250 price tag originally

I learned on an older machine but these seem significantly easier to pick up esp with the tap to chop and touch screen.

i learned on the mpc renaissance but i would say ben is right these new ones are super intuitive and easy to pick up and learn
