I was on the ferry that time coming home from riding the SIR/Staten Island Railway, and I got the ferry to get home. Then the thunder then showed up and the ferry went in circles until the thunderstorm went away so we could approach Whitehall Terminal. Finally the thunder went away a few minutes and the ferry went back to the terminal. Good thing me and my family didn’t panic we just stayed patient and waited for thunder to go away. I really didn’t want to write all of this, but I had to.
So, Station Island is an actual island, that has GIANT buildings on it?! I've just never really thought about it.. I would never want to live there, ever!! Wow! 😣

I saw footage of the tornado/microburst from Brooklyn and impretty sure that this the ferry on the video that got overtook by the mircroburst. The storm moved very fast.
