  • I want to like these new luxury collections. I really do. But, they make it so hard for me to overlook all these similarities, repetitive silhouettes and patterns. I mean, they are cute. But are they really THAT special?

Chanel's Cruise collection show was an insult to our intelligence. It was horrible. And I have to say "what the hell"? to what you've shown us. If I saw 99% of these clothes on the street, I'd be in hysterics! And don't B.S. me "you don't know fashion" - yes, I do and that's why I'm not wearing any bland, shapeless monstrosities this season.

Jesus. I could not agree more. Like, in the video, I tried to tame myself as I don't want to upset fans of the brands but inside, I was fuming. These collections are NOT IT.

Just know not to expect much from the luxury mainstream brands and move on.

I recently watched again the Patou Fall/Winter 24/25 and the clothing struck me as so beautifully Haute Couture but also so fantastically wearable and ulta chic.

The fabrics look cheap on top tier models & idols with runway lighting, they probably look even cheaper irl. There are still brands who do good tailoring but overall it’s “stick a logo on it and hike the price”

It's been few years now that I don't see anything interesting on the runaway. I used to love Valentino elegant style with strong colours like red, pink, blues, etc. I also loved Dior feminine outfits. Now we are going back to when catwalk outfits looked good only on skinny models.

The Chloe belt looks like they were “inspired” by Schiaparelli.

Always ask, would I buy this at this price without the logo?😂 if the answer is no I’m just buying to impress people I will never see again.

D&G would never follow those quiet luxury aesthetic stuff

@@perspectiveofme You should probably do other smaller brands like Carolina Herrera... ❤❤
