It depends on the octopus hook. I go back-and-forth between Snelling and a Palomar knot. Let me know how it goes.

Great video Michael! I've been using prowler planers for about 8 years now, very unique and different, they are pretty fun to use. And BTW, you've talked me into selling my boat and getting a nice kayak lol it would serve more purpose for me and way less expensive to go fish 😎

Yes, there are definitely some advantages to going smaller with a kayak. Much easier to transport and maintain. Plus, it’s really fun when you catch big fish on them.
