- It was a nice surprise when the high-end watch manufacturer Carl Friedrich Bucherer contacted me to discuss a collaboration. After fruitful debates I could pick up one of their more affordable watches, with a stunning salmon dial and a very special movement: The peripheral technology works without the usual rotor. Very nice watch Tim. I really like the color way and think that, in this case, the black date wheel works with that black sub dial.

Wow, thank you very much!

That's a lovely watch, but the rubber strap looks dreadful on it. The bracelet really suits it.
right
It's handsome. I'm really impressed with the movement. Cool review. Thank you.
My pleasure, thank you.
You would expect more than 30WR with a rubber and steel bracelet offering.
A fine dress watch should be on a good quality strap not rubber or metal. Just my opinion from someone who mainly wears dress watches.
Very good review as always.
What a stunner, very nice watch and great review.
Cheers 🍻
Hi Tim, great movement, massiv underrated. But is it still in hands of the Bucherer family? Didnt RLX buy Bucherer? Best, Alex
I think CFB watches are featured in the John Wick movies.
Well done Tim, super review of a lovely watch
Thank you
Great watch. I love the dimensions also.
Super cool watch; love that salmons dial. And yes, they should fix the give in that crown. Aka. Mr Valjoux
A very nice watch, a good alternative to Rolex and Omega.
Very nice. Innovative and beautiful.
How much kosts the aftermarket bracelettt?
ironically this movement is not a thin one for sure, then what's the point of using peripheral technically?
100 wr ....????
A good example of the date ruining the beauty of the dial, unbelievable, a 'sheeple' move.
I think that's similar to the movement in swatch sistem51 watches
Really?😀
There are some major differences. The Swatch Sistem 51has the rotor as a transparent disk in the center and colored outer ring. The mechanism of the real peripheral technology is just using the outer ring as the rotor. There's a good article on Monochrome: monochrome-watches.com/technical-perspective-peripheral-rotor-automatic-winding/
@@CasebackWatches thanks!
Not as refined as I expected, looks a little bit chunky.
I am Number Two. Are you Number SIx?
"I'm not a number, I'm a free man."
@@jeffreyromain7336 Lucky you. I have a rubbishy blue UK passport instead!
What a great watch. Makes me wish my wallet wasn't in a blender atm :(
