Riding Into Freedom - Along Portugal's N2

A mythical and historical route, at 738km in length and with 10,200m of elevation gain, The N2 commences in the far South of Portugal in Faro and extends through the central region to Chaves in the far North.
‘Portugals Route-66’ played host to Jack's first goal of 2021 and in collaboration with good friends 'Poroma.cc' the plan was to set a new record.
The time to beat was 28 hours...
Like always, Jack's goal was more than just looking to set a record, it was about showcasing how the bike brings us ALL freedom and so to co-incide with Portugals ‘Freedom Day’ celebrations on April 25th, Jack set off from Faro, in search of Chaves, hopeful of setting a new record.

I turned 52 a couple of days ago. Slowly trying to put the tools down but just when you think you're out, they pull you back in....I mean I love making furniture but if I could just do it on my terms without the customers....at least on my bike I can't hear them.

No rules mate, but with the 10,200m elevation, I decided a road bike would be faster 👌🏽
