  • Chain whip tutorial
    Kick combo
    Beginner level
    _____________________________________________
Some of these moves look a lot harder than they really are. Be sure to have a safe practice chain whip on hand and practice slowly, practice often. A lot if these moves are more about timing than speed. If anything is difficult slow it down. Jiayou!

I hope everyone is enjoying this series!
If you have any moves you are having a hard time with let me know and I'll try to add it to the next combo!
Make sure to practice slow, work on timing, and practice often! Safety first!

Having some trouble with applications, can you show some applications against different weapons, different ways to hide it and quick draw and different actual fighting techniques, thanks in advance.

Fantastic. I accidently bought too short of whips so I am waiting for a bit longer ones for the wrapping techniques. Hope to see yall at the tournament in Seattle this fall!

so relaxed, right? that's the way to train the basics to get shit down. like playing a musical instrument slow to get the muscles to remember the movements.

thank you for sharing your knowledge with me. Your videos are very informative with easy to follow instructions. The chain whip is by far the most intimidating weapon I've ever trained with but your videos give me the confidence to practice some beginning techniques thanks again!

    Thank you sir.
Quick question, how do you prevent from hitting the ankle, I have done it once and was unable to walk for quite sometime

Is their a fighting like style this? i remember seeing this in a scooby doo movie along time ago but i cant find that scene on youtube. Also the movie Kill Bill Has a scene but in the movie her chain is long longer. After watching the opening scene of the new Mortal Kombat i want to see this style used and uploaded on youtube and i think you got what it takes.

Pretty nice sequence! I guess it's doable with a rubber meteor hammer, too? (although some parts might have slightly different physics due to the rope being less "rigid" than the chain's sections...)

For sure! It will be cool if you can adjust the moves to get more out of the double hammer

Covid and Castlevania got me to pick up the chain whip. I've got the neck spin down and the shortening the whip. This is gonna be tricky but fun. This weapon is so stylish.

Would it be possible to just substitute this with a normal chain that's somewhat bigger and that has a dart at the end or would it be too hard?
