I took this deck to locals and recorded a little gameplay to go along with this deck profile. Tri brigade is definitely a very budget friendly option that pairs VERY well with Fire Kings. This version of the deck is definitely one of the go-to for how to play fire king

This profile helped me make adjustments to my list after getting back into the game but after testing, I think nerval at 2 is a must. Opening him kinda kills your tri combo unless you also open karas

Have you thought about switching the last two cards for Fire King Circle? You can use it to dodge targeting effects for kit, fractal, garunix, Ponix as long as you have another Fire monster in grave.
Nah I rather just play more cards that help go 2nd. To me kirin is already enough to help dodge effects
Would you ever consider 2 Nervall and 3 Kitt in this? Or do you think it's too much?
Nerval definitely should stay at 1. 3 kitt maybe but you would need to cut other engine cards.
Technically I feel like I should cut more engine with my list already. Probably stuff like the 1 of spell

I would probably stick to just fire king diabellstar if you want to play that engine. Don't really think the engines mix that well if it's too minimal.
Also gotta keep in mind we still want a decent amount of non engine cards ~12 at least

would you consider a crossout package in this?
not really, I feel like crossout is only necessary in a deck that actually auto wins if they combo or if you have a singular choke point (like old branded)
