I can't believe Jude is going into high school this year, he's going to do so well! This year was my last year of high school, I finally graduated. A lot of hard work but it pays off in the end. Also, do you have any tips on preparing for college, community college to be exact?

You have documented your lives so wonderfully that when your babes leave the nest you both can sit and watch hours upon hours of videos of your family growing up. Perhaps you should start making copies to give to your kids when they are older and have families of their own. I think you need at least 7 copies so far :) I wish I had a library like yours of my kids growing up back in the day...but I did keep tons of empty Tylenol bottles however to remind me of those precious times LOLOLOL

It's always exciting to see the school supplies and what everyone gets. I cant believe Lincoln is in 1st grade. Reese's plans sounded great too. The chilli and corn bread looked so good too.

Glad it was easier on getting back to school things. All kids know what they want to do, once they leave school be interesting to see what older ones want to do, Reece, Kiera, Penny and Jude, other 3 are still young. As I am sitting here catching up on my favorite TH-camrs my bf isin the background and out of nowhere he says he wants to change his scenery and move to Memphis Tennessee when he said that my heart nearly dropped!!!!! I would love to one day run into the millers if we ever move to Tennessee!!!!!

I think it would be nice for Lincoln to learn to play the piano I have seen him more than once playing it on your TH-cam channel. I've seen a lot of kids like him with many talents, maybe Lincoln has a hidden talent, maybe he could become a pianist.
I like that you thank God before meals i like that the children wash their own plates n bowls after eating, everyone should have own daily home chores routine or take turns

With this list from Walmart, do you have to buy everything on the list? For example, the crayons, you may have some from last year. Or back packs that are still good . In my country you can pick the material that you really need, and leave out what you still have. My daughter gets a list every year and the teachers use nothing from it, so we stopped buying, and first see what she really uses . And then we can still buy it.
For the school items, yes but any supplies that are kept at home we will reuse for multiple years. :)

Chili looked really good but man..homemade chili doesn't need all that cheese!! You gotta eat it just the way it is. I saw Lincoln's bowl and I was like wait..I thought he made chili? Looked like queso 🤣 I have never made chili as an adult but remember my mom making it when I was growing up and the only thing we really put in it was some chopped onion on top and maybe a sprinkle of cheese. I can always tell if chili is good or not by the color I feel like and the color of Stephen's in the pot..looked great! I gotta go find his recipe now.
Also..the whole Walmart list thing online is really cool! I know they've always had a thing of school lists when you walk in but sometimes you couldn't find your school or grade. So that's a pretty neat idea to go digital like they did! Also saves paper 💜

Also, not to be a buzz kill (pun not intended) but I would highly caution against seeing the Lightyear movie. I’ve heard that there’s a lot of swearing, some hinting at LGBTQ+, and my brother says that Tom Hanks (conservative) declined the role due to the liberal direction that Disney is heading, hence why Chris Evans (liberal) took the part. My SIL pointed out that this movie is geared more towards the millennials that grew up with the Toy Story movies rather than today’s kids. So, I just recommend that you research it to decide whether it’s worth exposing your kids to. Just warning you as a fellow Christian…

I start taking an online class on Monday, August 22, 2022. This will be my last needed class for my second A.A.S. degree in Design and Media Production Technology. I have autism and 4 other diagnosis outside of autism. Even if Linky doesn't go to college/university for a degree, there are some colleges/universities here in the USA, that offer a 2 year/4 year non degree seeking program he can participate in if needed.

I love it when Amanda and Stephen dance together and shoe affection in the videos. It’s really great for kids to see and learn what a healthy relationship looks like! Also the part where Ethan is climbing up the door jambs was so nostalgic for me. My youngest used to do that all the time. Now he’s a 27 year old man.

I was thinking about this house y'all are in, what a beautiful B&B and the owner saying I'm one of 7, I'm so glad y'all are here. I TRULY believe the walls absorb the 'vibes' of the occupants. I hope this is making sense. Hang with me . I'm not a nut job. Well not totally! 🤪 As a B&B, I'm sure it houses reunions, Family vaca's, quick get aways but as I watched your family and the LOVE that there is between y'all and I wondered as a B&B have the walls of this house ever heard this much love? Has it ever had so much children's laughter ringing through the studs that hold these walls up? ... I can see in my minds eye it soaking in the love, laughter of the children (oh my heart there is nothing more beautiful than children laughing) and I thought what a lucky house. It is my prayer that the walls actually absorb the love and laughter, hugs, bed time stories, prayers at meal times and bed times and the words I love you and God sprinkles every future renter, if they are there a day, week, month or year with these things the house soaks up from YOUR family. What a gift to others. We have probably all heard 'if these walls could talk' or ''the things these walls have seen and heard' as I watched today MY thoughts are what gifts of love and laughter of FAMILY these walls will be able to share when y'all move into your new home. It's Beautiful. What a beautiful gift

Yes I took piano lessons when I was younger even as a adult. Also as a adult help teach music and do children choir.
Time is just flying by, certainly calls for sucking the marrow out of life right now. Liam has shot up so much, he is almost as tall as Amanda. My teenager often experiences growing pains, it that something that Liam has experienced much while he has been on his treatment? So glad Reese is home! Is there a house update soon?

My favorite thing about the Miller Fam is that they always try their best to have dinner together every night that it is possible. I never had that as a kid and my inner child feels so happy when I see them all have dinner around a big table.
I remember the struggle of doing back to school shopping. I only have 3 kids so it is hard for me to imagine shopping for 6 kids. I guess with being able to order online now makes it so much easier than when I shopped for my kids 20 to 25 yrs ago. Thanks for igniting my taste buds. I am now in the mood for chili.
