Nice choice of wires Bosch used there. What are they - the width of a HUMAN HAIR? Yeah, those won't respond negatively to temperature changes or vibration at all. I swear everything is made these days to fail after a certain time frame.

My abs ecu just fail after 50k km, even the breaking pads are from factory. I will replace that costy module before the breaking pads

I have a 512A code on a 2006 sprinter . Would this fix the issue ? Solenoid Relay and no communication for ABS

I've had 2 of these things fail, it's a common fault too pin 13 and two wires that join it - thanks Bosch.

Hi please tell me, I have the ABS block 001 Bosch for BMW E39 2001, with error code 37 (55) cut-off valve. What exactly could be the problem? Please at least approximately tell me!

So what is the problem on the abs ecu modules that goes wrong so often? And why does such a simple design have to cost so much? There's more technology in my mobile phone yet its 1/10th the price of a new abs unit
in fact come to think of it why are the injectors priced so high as well?
Yes everything has tolerances but I think these were built to fail and Bosch knew they would to make more money

    • @Kj16V
      @Kj16V 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Because its Bosch and they can get away with it! Bosch have this un-earned reputation for quality but in reality their injectors suck and - as we can see - so do their electreonics!

Safety components cost more because the relabilty is supposed to be more and they are designed for harsh conditions more than a smartphone

Main problem is bad design. Heat and vibration inside engine compartment, causing this type of modules to fail often. On bmw e39 problem is that module is mounted to close to engine exaust, so heat and vibration over time result in hi fail rate. But this is not only BMW problem, basicly all manufacturer who use Bosch units have similar problems...

They should learn (Kelsey-Hayes) for example: 4wal and although they are not the best in the market, at least their electronics was born to die along with the car, from the 90's and still working

"high quality" electronics does not need to be rebuild like this. BOSCH made a shameful low quality product designed to fail post warranty.
