      @@hgmurty That logic of yours can be applied to literally any part of India. Even people from Karnataka, Andhra are working in Mumbai, Chennai, Middle East, USA, UK. And migrant laborers from UP, Bihar, Assam, WB are getting highest wages in Kerala in entire nation and they are called guest workers and have beneficial schemes.

      @@roh2393 Karnataka has advanced IT industry. No.2 in GST collection. KA people don't go outside for job as nearly as Kerala people. Kerala GST
      is less than haryana. TN has good IT and manufacturing industry. Gujarat and Maharashtra also great Gst collection. Lot of business. Nothing in Kerala apart from nature. Over hyped by commies and liberals that it's great place. Point is keralites have to go to other place for good wages more than kA and TN

    Kerala has always been different from the rest of India since ancient times. Due to its geography it was isolated from the rest of India, but since it's in the cost of Arabian Sea it had advantage over international trade and a cosmopolitan culture. People tend to have forgotten this history, but even to this day the mindset of tolerance and communal harmony has survived.

    • @Shrike6699
      @Shrike6699 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Don't talk BS, Kerala wasn't isolated,
      Kingdoms of Thiruvithankoor-Kochi and Zamorin were always Integrated with rest of the India or Bharatam.
      After all Shankaracharya of Kalady travelled through the length and breadth of this massive sub-continent establishing mathams and teaching advaitha.
      Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Sanskrit were used in Travancore courts.
      You can still find descendents of Maratha origin weaver community In Palakkad.
      Communal harmony is only due to the pussilianimous nature of Hindus.
      Who would rather roll over and die than confront the Islamic terror.

    • @thevilderblue
      @thevilderblue ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Shrike6699 you have misunderstood my point. I'm talking about ancient and medieval Kerala, until the 17th century. Kerala's political climate changed from the 18th century. So, back then it was easier to get to Arabia than to Delhi. So, it's culture was unique from that of the whole subcontinent. The statement that Zamorins, Travancore and Kochi were always integrated with the rest of India is an oversimplification for three reasons. Zamorin was an internationalist who had allies with the Ottoman Sultan, Emperor of China and Egypt, while his relationships with the neighboring kingdoms were poor. The concept of United India did not exist until the late 19th century, it was divided into many different kingdoms. Travancore and Kochi were considered prominent states only in the 18th century due to diplomatic actions of East India Company.
      The Kingdom of Kochi paid tribute to Portuguese and Mysore Sultans who was the tributary of Mughals. Travancore paid tribute to the Nawab of Arcot, who in turn paid tribute to the Mughals. So both Travancore and kingdom of Kochi became part of the Mughal/Hindustan diaspora only in the 18th century.
      And the fact that Adi Shankara travelling around India does not contradict my point.
      Regarding the usage of languages, Persian was the diplomatic language of Travancore and malayalam was the court language.
      So, this history has much to do with contemporary culture, politics, economy and society of Kerala.
      So, you agree that it's hindus who are a threat to communal harmony in Kerala. And how can communal harmony and islamic terror go well together? Interesting.
      When you approach everything in a Hindu-Muslim binary, that definitely is terror.

    • @deepakdev9728
      @deepakdev9728 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Shrike6699 Bullshit. Intellectuals from Kerala like Shankara, Aryabhatta, Neelakantan contributed immensely to Indian philosophy and astronomy. But even before that there was communal harmony in Kerala. Not due to "the pussilianimous nature of Hindus", but because of the fact that the hindus who had land holding and social position were the no. 1 oppressors of Hindu have-nots. The oppressed castes were more in association and cooperation with Muslims and Christians. That is the base of the communal harmony of Kerala. I didn't wish to write this. But such things if not responded will be considered as truth.

    I’ve spent 12 years in Germany. As a foreigner I found it to be full of very cold and distant people. The time I was living there we never really had one friend there other than 2 other Indian students who came to study in Germany. My kids who were born there were also excluded by the parents of other kids there because we are different and non conforming. My kids had one or two friends at most. And they have never come to our home for play time. You must note that this is not racism as even white immigrants to Germany face the same issue. Anyway we returned to Kerala 3 years ago, I was afraid that my kids would find it hard to adjust. Within 45 mins of them going to the park in our community they came back with more friends than they had all their 10 and 8 years in Germany. They don’t want to go back ever. Three years later me and my wife couldn’t be happier, of course we make less money but we live among people who know how to love others and spread that love no matter how strange the other person seems. The people here know how to connect with other human beings from different cultures and languages. Thats why they’re happy even though they don’t enjoy the highest standard of life like in Europe or USA. Our kids have entered high school and embraced Kerala as their home. They couldn’t stop talking about pop culture and movies here. It’s very interesting to watch them discover Malayalam language movies and music.
