- This week I had the pleasure of driving and reviewing the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, a car many have asked that I review!! I figured why not compare it to the BMW X3 and Audi Q5, both of which I have reviewed and created videos with! I wanted to see how the Benz stacked up.
You're going to have to watch the video to get my full thoughts, but yes, the Mercedes is a worthy adversary. Even in 'base' form, the Mercedes offered a few luxury niceties, and was very traditionally a Mercedes. Its strengths were its looks and brand prestige, and one of its cons was comfort.
While it sported fake exhaust tips -- terrible, it did fit an impressive amount of tall boys and featured an easy to use MBUX infotainment system. That's all you get, now watch the video!!

I traded in my 2020 X3 with the GLC, and I am very happy with my decision. The X3 have rattling noise issues and it’s not as good as the GLC in soaking up road imperfections. The GLC is also a little more quiet. I prefer the X3’s infotainment system though. But the more luxurious drive of the GLC makes up for it.
Hey man, I'm just happy that YOU'RE happy!! We all have our own opinions, both are solid cars, and good at different things
100% agree. And BMW has been known to catch fire spontaneously. Not wonderful.

I like my 2019 glc300, got it a year old with 18k miles on it . Very stylish and comfortable with a practical side to it. I wish the screen was touch , but the infotainment is still ok.
Happy to hear you're enjoying your GLC... yes the infotainment is a weak spot, but will be massively improved in the next Gen model!!
@@Reoniz i think the new ones are better but it’s still not worth upgrading to a newer one, especially since in a year the new one would be outdated .

Hi . Are power windows standard for the GLC 300?
Which vehicle engine has the longer life? My wife is looking at both and I've heard the Audi doesn't last much longer than approximately 80K miles. We tend to keep vehicles well past 100K miles
get a lexus nx, its the best and most reliable suv you can get
is q5 better than glc if I just want a smooth, reliable, and quiet ride?
They're both pretty good for what they are... I lean towards the Audi for a combination of power-plant and infotainment personally

I sat in a brand new Q5 in the showroom today - doesn’t feel anywhere near as special as the GLC inside.
I truly believe it's subjective... I also believe the X3, Q5, and GLC are all fantastic vehicles and much of the what/why between them comes down to both personal preference and affinity for the brand!
I like reviews from the channels, I wish they told the viewers what they drive daily

@@MrTacoma impossible to say... reliability is not my expertise, but I'd imagine there's a negligible difference between the two

@@activechild35 haha ok fair... but I wouldn't get too loaded of a GLC 300, even with 22' pricing, I just built out my ideal spec at $52,200 (including destination)
@@Reoniz the main problem is that the cars the dealerships have are frequently optioned up much more than what you might build on the website. This is particularly a problem with luxury brands. Thanks for the video!

Fair enough man... can't disagree with you, especially in an SUV. In a performance car I would love a slick top!!
Its preference. I personally don't want a sunroof but mine came with it, so it's nice that there is an option without it.
M L i was recently in the EU and noticed many luxury cars with no sunroof… I think it’s an american standard feature with luxury cars, but i found out many europeans do not prefer to have it and go without the option. If you think about it, it’s an option that doesn’t really matter and isn’t necessary.
@@ML-jk3sz sunroofs significantly reduce headroom. they require more maintenance, are prone to leaking if you don't keep them in perfect condition, and even spontaneously shatter sometimes. I don't wanna have to lower my seat down to clear. I like having the seat up high I can't do that with a sunroof. Just my personal preference.

The Best Or Nothing. The X3 gets you less horsepower and torque why do you want to feel fast when you really aren't fast. It's like riding with aluminum hubcaps they look nice but you know.
Hahahaha I meeeean these two cars couldn't be more similar. I doubt anybody is seriously using acceleration as a determining factor between them
