@@vidRaTeR my guess would be that a lot of porters on trains back in the day were black (watch any old film from the 30s and 40s that takes place on a train)
Don rickles, the sultan of insult, the merchant of venom, the first bi-lingual comedian, and finally, just plain old Mr. Warmth, in fine form. The world lost a legend when he left. I hope he's resting peacefully, wherever he is.
Simply one of the funniest people that ever lived!!!!! He always took it right to the line, while at the same time you know it's all fun, and not mean spirited!! RIP Don!!
Rest in Peace, Don Rickles. Remember seeing you many times at Dodger Stadium back in the day. Great comic! You can hang out with the Rat Pack again in heaven.
RB2331 Not really, he was trying to turn the tables on Don, for a laugh. These guys volunteered for the gag, knowing it was going to be hilarious. Don did not disappoint.....
I seen DON RICKELS open for SINATRA the seats l was in you could look back stage n l seen SINATRA laughing so heard he came on stage with tears in his BLUE EYES, n started his show saying " THAT WAS HITLERS KID " R.I.P. BOTH LEGIONS❤😢😅❤❤❤❤
Funny stuff! Don was a very quick wit, he could pull jokes out of thin air and have you rolling in mere seconds. His put-downs of ex-California governor Reagan on the Dean Martin Roast series was a masterpiece.
My good friend Jeri, knew Don for years since his manager/producer Joseph Scandore was dating Jeri, and said at home Don was nothing like his onstage persona never cracking jokes or insulting anyone ...he introduced her to the Rat Pack and Steve Lawrence. & Edie Gourme’
Even as a kid, I was like why is Bill Russell the "Dean of Baseball?" Fine player. Good baseball mind and good fielder. Never much of a hitter. I was just unclear on how he got to be the Dean.
The black butler on the train and the dominion republic comments were awesome

Knowbody in the history of comedy is as funny as Don. He would never practice or rehearse. Just go out and kill night after night. That kind of skill is rare. He was the best at his craft.
This was so hard to do. Don made it look easy. No one else can do this schtick. Comedians are the top of the entertainment food chain. As Jerry Lewis said, Milton Berle could put Lawrence Olivier under the table in two minutes. That's why there are 10,000 Shakespearean actors, and only one Don Rickles.
To be insulted by Don was considered an honor.
He will be dearly missed.
Stephen Yount Right on.
It was a great honor
RIP Mr Rickles, you meant no harm and everyone who knew you loved you.
He's a nice guy.
He was so wonderful
"I'll call you whatever I want to call you!" Had me rolling on that one.
Rotflmao
“He thinks he’s on a train and gonna make up my bunk”. Lmao
What does that line mean?
@@vidRaTeR my guess would be that a lot of porters on trains back in the day were black (watch any old film from the 30s and 40s that takes place on a train)
@@deadpan80 They were also very good at making flap jacks for breakfast.

" Still lock yourself in the bathroom with the radio loud ? " bahahahaha ahahahaa
That was brilliant!

Make another remark like that and you're gonna wind up in the Dominion Republic, in front of a wall. LOL
dude...the other line ...' you gotta stop having your wife be a maid' was beyond funny !
RB2331 The line was "I met the wife you got a lot of money, but how long you going to make the woman clean hotel rooms"
Goggles Paesano he was still doing this stuff, right to the end!
He had some close calls there but never got tagged.
Man I wish I could think half as fast as Don Rickles did. RIP greatest comedian of all time.
No one made me laugh harder.......:)
Simply one of the funniest people that ever lived!!!!! He always took it right to the line, while at the same time you know it's all fun, and not mean spirited!! RIP Don!!

this guy took down the whole teams confidence single handedly.
"Dominion Republic"
"Back in Oxbow watching crickets die" hahaha
My only regret in life is that I didn’t see Don Rickles live. Pure comedy and not a vicious bone in his body
"Do you still lock yourself in the bathroom with the radio on loud?" Love Rickles.
🤣
"The steel workers were starting to eye ya" hahaha only don rickles man
One of a kind.
I met him at one of his shows, a genuine down to earth guy !
Don Rickles is a Legend but not a natural born motivational coach
Stipe Nazorin 😂
I actually agree with that, too mean
More like un-motivational, jajaja !!!

R.I.P. two legends, Lasorda and Rickles!

The checks on far right means there's comments
"and you're gonna be back in San Antonio, where you belong"
lmao
i miss him already. rest easy mr warmth
As a Giants fan I can't help but laugh at this video (even though I know he's being facetious) ;)
I hope they could appreciate what a legend Don Rickles was, even then.
RIP Mr. Warmth
Madlock is looking at him like he wants to make up his bed on a train!!

What a hillarious person , love him.
Don Rickles timing always on point. A genius.
Steve Sax- *Orel Hershiser* wants to trade *first names* with you.

Damn Don Rickles was funny--never will be another like him
Rest In Peace
Don Rickles, I would of been honored if you ever insulted me.
Do you still sit in the bathroom with the radio on loud! I died!!!
1 word......LEGEND. 👍👍👍❤❤❤
This is right up there with that episode of Mr. Ed when he visits Dodger Stadium and bats against Sandy Koufax.
Mr Ed hit a inside the park home run lol

R.I.P Mr. Warmth. You will be missed!!!! :'(
I may be a White Sox fan but I'm with those LA Dodgers Don Rickles was so funny insulting them. They don't make them like they used to.
“Watching ducks die” The less he made sense, the funnier it was RIP to the legend
2:48 you can hear Lasorda in the background losing it lmao
"Tubs" @ 0:17 ........HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
Don looks great in Dodger blue... What a legend 👍🏻
Even the players knew back then it Awesome Great Comedy.
this is sick funny shit I've refuse to see this but I finally did and Rickles is something else man this dude was some special!
Don is right now putting together a roast for Tommy in heaven right now. Tommy Lasorda, you will be missed.

Even as a kid, I was like why is Bill Russell the "Dean of Baseball?" Fine player. Good baseball mind and good fielder. Never much of a hitter. I was just unclear on how he got to be the Dean.
I forgot Bill Madlock played for the Dodgers.
Watching crickets die, LMAO !
I love the way he runs
Nobody did it better than Don!
Rickles will make any man in Hollywood today cry like a baby if he got the chance to roast them.
Damn, I was waiting for him to get to LaSorda
That went pretty well.
I've never seen this one before. Thanks lol
The name is Steve...shut up, I'll call you what I want...lol..classic Rickles
We lost one of the greats when he departed this life
Rickles has mastered the big insult. You can say anything you want to anyone...and then just say "just kidding" "I love ya."
Don Rickles was one of the few comics who could use race offence as comedy. He was truly a lovely guy, and didn't care what color people were.
Love this guy the best
Classic Rickles his Lasorda walk was classic
I believe that was a motivation to win the 1988 World Series.
ceaos Canada is involved too... That is Worldly...hahahahaha!!
The black butler on the train and the dominion republic comments were awesome

Well...you can check that one off your list !
