If MLB took away the 2017 championship, it would actually benefit Houston's players. As it is, Houston's hitters are going to suffer through a 2020 season where, in every ballpark they visit, boos and catcalls will rain down on them each time their names are announced and they step into the batter's box. They face an ugly, anger-laced season where they are treated as pariahs, outcasts, traitors to the game of baseball. If MLB strips their title, justice will be done and the furor will begin to die down. It's the best possible step for MLB to take. And it's the right step.

MLB totally blew it. The fact that the player weren't punished sets a terrible precedent. It means player can continue to cheat, and nothing will happen to them.
