Perth. The City between Two I̶n̶c̶h̶e̶s̶ Lochs

I took some drone footage, a couple of photos and a couple videos on my phone to show what was happening in Perth when the Tay was close to bursting its banks.
The North and South Inches were close to capacity. Floodgates were being bolstered and Bells Sports Centre looked in a bad way.
Many thanks to the teams who were deploying flood defences and many thoughts to those who were flooded out in Craigie and those who may yet still be evacuated from low level housing near the North Inch and other areas along the riverside.

It's bad! Let's hope it's as high as we ever see it. But I have a feeling it might not be. 😥 great footage of the power of nature. It's a shame that people have fire sure lost property in this flooding. May it be a quick clear up for them.

I read on the news site that they might be evacuating low-level properties next to the North inch. Those emergency workers will be having a tough, challenging night. Thanks to them, I'll hopefully get to work safely in the morning.

That is a lot of water, I hope it resides quickly. I heard that the disruption is as bad... if not worse, as the beast from the east snow storm a few years back.
