I'm glad that The Gravity Group is doing these small wooden coasters :) They don't need to always go tall or fast to be really good, as with a lot of coasters these days :)
But when the Gravity Group goes big, they make masterpieces! The Voyage is my #1 coaster.

I think Kentucky Kingdom is my favorite comeback story for amusement parks in my lifetime. They really pulled victory from the jaws of defeat and turned that place into a destination park.
U have someone who loves the park and want it to succeed instead of being one of 12-13

it wasn't the first hyper coaster, it was the first complete circuit hyper coaster. The first hyper coaster, or coaster over 200 feet is Moonsault Scramble at Fuji-Q highland. most people only call it the first hyper coaster as Moonsault Scramble was a shuttle coaster.

@@ebkdnb77 Yeah, that's too bad. I think it's as good as Phantom's Revenge. I didn't find it all that painful. The airtime was really strong, but it was a little jerky.

I'm an adult, I love my Diamondback and Mystic Timbers, and i adored this little coaster. It's worth riding a few times in a row if you can swing it.
I haven't ridden this, and and I think the Roadrunner Express is a great family coaster. At least the best mine train.
This is my personal opinion, but when you give a ride a score, you should give it a score compared to coasters of its style, then a score compared to all coasters
Six flags America can use one in that kid section under the Superman.

I heard you meantion Roar-O-Soarus in the past. That's at Story Land in Glen New Hampshire. It was my first Rollercoaster and I really enjoyed it. It was built by Gravity group as well

They need to replace Judge Roy Scream at SFOT with one of these. Kees the feel of the 50-70 ft wooden coaster with an out and back layout, but it will actually be enjoyable.
I think a lot of enthusiasts (not me) were disappointed whenever they found out that the 2019 coaster was going to be a Gravity Group woodie rather than a mega coaster or something, but I think that actually seeing it has changed that tune. This looks like an absolutely incredible coaster and I'm so glad Kentucky Kingdom is only seven hours away. Also, I think it is so smart that Kentucky Kingdom keeps making some pretty underwhelming graphics so that when the actual coaster comes out, people are blown away.
Lot of people want a Wooden Coaster next at Carowinds in the DA plot. I do like the idea of a dualing GCI but a ground up RMC or GG could be a really great addition. What do you think Taylor? Would love to get an updated 5 year plan for Carowinds.

A 10/10 seems pretty high for a family coaster, but it seems to make sense because it's Gravity Group. They're the same ones that built my all-time favorite coaster, Voyage!
That 10/10 just means its a perfect family coaster!

These seats with the restrains look weird and that it would be hard for anyone to ride unless you are super skinny but I could be wrong
Yeah! Underestimate this thing if you want to! I did before I road it! It's a wild, fast, stomach dropping top notice ride! Sure to surprise you folks so be warned! It's not a tame as you'd think it is!
Rode this during Halloscream at night and with a light mist and it flew had 2-3 rides it was Awsome
Reminiscent of the roller coasters prevalent in old school amusement parks and county/state fairs back in the day.
It looks like a really nice ride! It's color scheme kind of reminds me of some of those older woodies like Cyclone

You gave Lightning Run a 9. Is it still better than Kentucky Flyer or is this better in your opinion.
The score is always for the type of coaster. Like he said, it's pretty much a perfect family coaster so he gives it a ten. Taron for example isn't perfect so it gets a 9 but it's still better than this.

I know you probably wouldn't do it, but just for fun, it would be cool if you brought back coaster fights for one episode between this, Oscars wacky taxi and wooden warrior, as they are all similar rides.

It's nice to see Gravity Group doing coasters like this. As someone who basically grew up riding Kingdom Coaster at Dutch Wonderland, it's incredible to have more great family wooden coasters that enthusiasts can enjoy (with great airtime).
When you gave this little coaster 10/10. I just did a hype dance.. This ride kills Mystic Timbers.
Ever since both this and Oscar is highly successful, I think it should be Idlewild Park's time to get one of these!

The things you mentioned about riding in the back versus the front..the back is usually the most extreme ride on most roller coasters =} I really wanna ride this just because its a family coaster but looks pretty great. And u can just feel the ejector airtime when looking at the coaster train as it goes up and over bunny hop type hills/even a double up I think I saw and it def looked like U'd get some great stomache drops riding in the back =}

I think Great Adventure should invest in one of these. I mean, after the removal of Rolling Thunder, the only wooden coaster option you have is El Toro, which is definitely not a family coaster. I know people want a Giga, or some new big coaster, but what they need is a family coaster to fill the hole left by rolling thunder.
SFGADV has 4 family coasters. The Mine Ride, Dark knight, Skull Mountain, and Harrly Quinn. However I do agree, SFGADV needs another woodie.
@@AdamSmith-gs2dv Let me rephrase myself. Great Adventure needs a good wooden family coaster. Something to give the wooden coaster experience to people who want less intense rides.

This is one of my favorite coasters, as you said people just keep riding it. I rode this coaster 5 times in one visit.

What I find to be interesting is that the build quality of TGG coasters seems to vary quite a bit. Some are glass smooth like I've heard this one is, and then you have Mine Blower which was unnecessarily rough from day one. I think that inconsistency might be making parks cautious about working with them. Hopefully I'm wrong. I like them more than GCI.
I think Mind Blower is rough due to its location, Floridas hot humid summers are not kind to wood.
The airtime on this is crazy, it might be small and slow but the airtime is the great.

STOP IT! The jig is up! I rode this ride for the first time July 2019. I was disappointed. Kentucky Kingdom desperately need another rollercoaster similar to Storm Chaser but longer.
Kentucky Flyer is a family coaster. If U want a a extreme ride ride T3 or Lighting run or Storm chaser. They will get another one down the line

The expansion project plan shows a major launched coaster going into the park to replace Corkscrew.

Listen to his explanation of the score. The fact he gave this ride a 10 doesn't mean he thinks it's the best ride ever but rather as good as it can possibly be for the type of coaster the ride is.
