- In Bangladesh, men attack the northern hills to cut precious bamboo which they assemble into a large floating raft. To reach the capital Dacca, three hundred kilometers of marshes and rivers await them. In the middle of wild landscapes, the journey of this extraordinary convoy will last almost a month. This indomitable monster, 80 meters long and 40 meters wide, is operated by six men.

I'm in America and i'm not rich by no means. After watching this i will not complain about not having this or that. My wife and i have a home a car and truck older ones but they run. We also have food,water and a lot of things more than others and yet i still complain. From now on i will be happy with what i have god-bless all the people around the world like this. Be proud of the honest hard work you do.

I have been to Bangladesh, in that region and met a woman who I married and brought to my home region in Johor, Malaysia. Our meeting was very memorable even though at that time, I was getting a military contract in that area to look after unofficial officers from countries that wanted to help Bangladesh.
I remember that at that time we were guarding a convoy of vehicles and met my wife at a crossroads, she was sweet and shy. In my free time I trace his house and village. when we met, in 4 days in her village I married her and gave 4 bicycles for her 3 brothers to work. and 1 for his father in town. it was a touching and very heart-wrenching experience to see that the entire economy in Bangladesh had to be like this. We haven't seen this condition in 4 years...

These poor people work so hard for so little. Most people in the western world have no idea what these people must do to merely survive. I have great sympathy for these hard-working men and women.

Moving the bamboo is terrible work! What risks they have to take for little pay! I feel so bad for children there and anywhere in the world who have to work in poor and dangerous conditions . This is a good video for us to see what others have to suffer through.
They can make some invention: steam train, helicopters etc.

These people toil hard to provide for their families with little pay. Their circumstances are difficult. Some innovation is needed. Documentaries such as this raise awareness. People of Bangladesh are very industrious. I know things will change. They must.

Comment se plaindre de nouveau de la vie en étant assis à la maison devant son ordinateur avec une connexion wifi haut débit à regarder des documentaires où l'on voit des hommes souffrir tous les jours pour moins de 5euro par jour.
