- वाराणसी में ज्ञानवापी मस्जिद में मंदिर के अवशेष ढूंढ़ने के लिए भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण विभाग को मिले अदालत के निर्देश के बाद एक और मंदिर-मस्जिद विवाद ज़ोर पकड़ सकता है. अब इस विवाद को क़ानूनी हैसियत भी मिल गई है. सुन्नी सेंट्रल वक़्फ़ बोर्ड और ज्ञानवापी मस्जिद प्रबंधन ने इस आदेश को हाईकोर्ट में चुनौती देने का फ़ैसला किया है. वाराणसी में काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर और उससे लगी ज्ञानवापी मस्जिद, दोनों के निर्माण और पुनर्निमाण को लेकर कई तरह की धारणाएं हैं लेकिन स्पष्ट और पुख़्ता ऐतिहासिक जानकारी काफ़ी कम है, दावों और क़िस्सों की भरमार ज़रूर है.

I am a lawyer at Chandigarh. In 1989-90 I had visited Varanasi to help conduct a murder trial where a girl from Ludhiana had died at her matrimonial home. Along with one Shri Harbans Singh I had visited the Mandir. Being sikhs we were allowed to visit mosque also. While reaching back of the mosque my first reaction was that it was built after demolition of Mandir. A bare look at the back wall of mosque made me certain. I am ready to cause of my Hindu brothers. Ratta Advocate.
This only literate mulsim understand that wht belong to hindu has to be handover to hindu but the politics pin illerate muslim and create a sign which create a gap between hindu muslim...

It has to accepted that to learn the truth a detailed archaeological study has to be carried out. Few facts :
1 . The structure of mosque is in 2 different architecture the bottom part is made up of stones with hindu sculptures on it and the upper part looks completely different from bottom.
2. Most famous mosque names in India are jama maszid , hazratbal maszid, haji ali dargah , mecca masjid , sidi syed maszid etc why in the world this is named gyanvaapi ?
3. History has its proof that mughal looters demolished many hindu temples one such example is somnath temple gujarat, gyanvaapi is the same case..
BBC was confused about Ayodhya Ram Mandir as well. So don’t consider them seriously. 😆

Even if there has been a temple which was destroyed. I don't think destroying the current structure to restore a temple would create the same vibe and importance it once had. The great historic and spiritual importance of Vishwanath Mandir which was arguably there can't be restored even if the court handover this land for the temple. There is nothing to gain and so much to lose if we go that path. It would have been a great place of importance if it wasn't destroyed but now it's lost and can't be recreated in the same grandeur and vibe it once had as heard. So Let it go , We have Kashi Temple , they have their Mosque. Places of spiritual and historical significance once lost can't be restored in their full grandeur and spirit. They just become symbolic. And We already have a symbolic place adjacent to the Mosque. But now whether this method goes one way or another, they got Fuel for their 2024 campaigns.Good luck public fighting for no reason.

None can deny the Kashi Vishwanath, but it's a well known fact that mosque had been created few centuries back, whatever may be the date. The existence of The Kashi Vishwanath is unquestionable, but mosque is doubtful. It's simple, if its my house, you cannot overtake some part of it and construct another house for you.
