@3:09 This entire section on my copy of the game is bugged out to the point that it's impossible to get through it as Sonic. When I break the barriers and get launched off the spring onto the first descending platform, it randomizes the 5th or 6th platform's position placing it way too high for Sonic to reach at times and sometimes just completely removing it altogether.
I'm not sure what do you mean by randomizing it or how it's bugged, but it is a BS section overall. You have to be fast enough to reach the farthest-right platform with precise jumping to keep it at a height to reach the goal.
@@JudgmentWaltz What I meant by "randomize" is that sometimes the platform is positioned just out of reach for Sonic's maximum jump height where you'd think you can make it, but you're just inches out of reach and fall to your death. And sometimes it's at its normal position only for the next few platforms to be bugged out in a similar fashion. It's really annoying and it has prevented me from ever finishing Sonic's side of the game.
Should've called this stage "Patience Limit" cause if you're not, you'll lose it real fast. XD Hardest stage in the game. Probably in 2D Sonic overall.

@@Adalz27 This is pretty embarrassing to say but i used to own sonic rush when I was young and ending up breaking my ds just because of the boss. I used to mash like crazy and I would die to the boss no matter how bad and ending up pretty it by flicking it too hard from what i remember
I wonder how many people just threw their computer out the window in anger because they realized that the whole time you never had to jump over all the spikes on the grind rail in act 2...
This is one of the worst video game levels i ever played, i got the chaos emerald on this level and then got a Game Over in Act 2 and lost the chaos emerald. Akinori Nishiyama (The Game's Director) should never be allowed to cook again 💀

This Zone is difficult as all can be, but it's miles better than Sky Canyon, Techno Base, and Egg Utopia from Sonic Advance 2.

Sonic games aren't known for their difficulty. Sonic Rush is a standout. All prior 2d Sonic games are easier.
