Hey Khushboo! great Video again, Wanted to check a couple of things with you , 1)How many days validity do you get the e visa for Vietnam like 30 days max or something right and are 7 days enough to cover mostly everything in Vietnam 2) So did you stay at same hotel at Hanoi and travelled back and forth for all the other sites you visited. 3) Any apps that you downloaded and found useful for your Vietnam trip. 4) And did you get your currency exchanged after getting to Vietnam and how much do you suggest for a 7 day trip on a good budget for a single person Thanks and have a safe happy trip
Yes you get 30 days VISA if you fill the details that ways. As I knew I am going for 14 days so I filled the details for 14 days and they gave me 16 days validity. North vietnam 7 days are not enough because I would recommend you doing ha giang loop which takes 4 days. And throughout my 1 month trip to SEA, everyone said that I missed the best thing in vietnam which was hagiang loop. This can be your north vietnam itinerary hanoi - 2 days ha giang loop - 4 days sapa - 2 day (you can skip if less on time/money as hagiang loop would have given you a better experience) ninh binh - 2-3 days (as you would want to rest before you travel long distance again) Central Vietnam - hoi an /danang / bana hills (2-3 days) South Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh - 2-3 days Other things you can consider - mekong delta , dalat, Mui Ne, phu quoc
2. no, i left on day 2 and came back on day 5, day 6 was my day trip to halong bay. (you can add that too to your itinerary or maybe cat ba island) 3. currency app is very helpful to convert the amount faster into the other currencies to compare. grab app you must have (there are other apps as well local to vietnam but i did not use them. There is gojek also but it doesn't work in most of the places. bas ho chi minh mein it worked. hanoi mein b try kar sakte ho.) Take a forex card with you. It is very helpful even paying 3% extra at places just costed me 120 rs extra. Use agri bank atm if you need to withdraw, it costs 22,000 VND on every transaction. 4. i took 500,000 VND from India as I needed for the shuttle bus from airport to city. Apart from that I took USD with me and exchanged only 100 USD throughout the trip from the city. Asked someone to withdraw INR 3000 for me as at one hostel they accepted only cash warna mera pura trip 100 USD mein ho jata. kyuki card se hi pay kar ri thi mein har jagah. I can't recommend how much you will need until I know your travelling style, card/cash ratio and online payments or everything in cash. So if you give out all details I can only tell then. Otherwise you can calculate based on above, mine was 14 days trip.
@@khushboo.vasudeva much appreciated, will ask you anything else when needed and yeah you are very helpful in your information sharing. Hope you continue your journey and get to travel throughout the world. Cheers

Hanoi (1 day see as much as possible; train street and beer street can be done at night) Ha long bay day trip (1 day) Ninh binh day trip (1 day) Sapa (2 days) or If you have good budget - hanoi ha long bay day trip Ninh binh day trip take a flight from hanoi to Danang and then 1 day danang and same night visit Hoi An (30 mins away) 1 day Bana Hills.
Hey Khushboo, Wonderful vlog, the narration, visuals and music blends perfectly!! ✨ I'm also making my first solo international trip to Vietnam(Hanoi to HCMC) next week. Do you have any recommendations(tips) from your experience?
You are going to love it. 1. If you are going to stay at hostels, you are going to meet a lot of people (just to chit chat not to hang out with). If you want to hangout with people then book your hostel on hostelworld and they add you to that city’s group and you can actually find people through it to hangout with (not 100% guaranteed) 2. Have a lot of coffee and banh mi (i loved the condensed milk coffee) 3. Take a raincoat/umbrella as it is the rainy season. 4. If you have a forex card, you won’t need much cash. 5. You can take a bus from hanoi airport to the city (45,000 vnd cash rakhna uske liye). Take USD from india kyuki VND ka rate itna bura milta hai. I exchanged 2200 in india but i got actual value of only 1600 rs. (Forex card pe 3% extra lagega but wo 3% cost mera 150rs k upar nhi gaya). You need cash for tickets, street food, shopping. Baaki sab kuch online ya fir through card pay kar sakte ho. 6. Aur kuch b specific doubts ho toh you can always ping on IG (link in description) 😊
i took a day bus from hanoi to sapa (6hrs travel). there is also a night bus but you will reach early and won't get a check in until 2pm which is really annoying. sapa to ninh binh... again took a bus... they said 8 hrs but actually it took 6 hrs and i reached at 4.30 am and didn't get a checkin until 12.30 pm. 😭 you can take a bus from ninh binh to central vietnam or a flight from hanoi. according to google it says its good during september. But it also says clear skies in May, when I went it was raining both the days and I couldn't see a thing. So, agar flexibility hai plan mein toh ek baar wahi jaake ask locals and travellers around how's it going to be in Sapa right now.
Tell me how many people waved their hands towards the camera?
Aren't Vietnamese people the most friendly ones? 🫶
