Anatomy of a plumbers tool bag. Awesome. Love your thought process. The tool bags are great, long gone are the days of the plumbers roll up canvas bags carried on top of the shoulder. Showing my age now. Loving your work PB.
Been plumbing just over 2 years as an apprentice and finding the right tool bag to take into the job is hard I watch your videos to help me out with the kit I need and best way to do thing and these velocity bags look amazing wanna get my hands on one
I will be starting my plumbing apprentice soon. I'v been collecting tool slowly this would be a grate addition. grate design ,looks very handy . love the soldering bag as well. thanks
My apprentice would love this bag. He has just started his own hand tools collection and is currently using a builder's bucket. I've offered to buy him a bag but he wants to buy it out of his own wages. He is a very good worker, always punctual, never on his phone (not like the last one lol) and has never called in sick in 16 months!! Cheers PB
Mate I've got a keen apprentice who never goes off sick always on time , I just won't him to win this bag to see his face as he like me is a fan of yours. Keep up the good work bud
Love the video. Great ideas going into the bags, Designed by a plumber for a plumber perfect👍. I have an apprentice who would love this bag, trying to show him being tidy and well organised for the job in hand.
I have ordered the soldering bag and am looking forward to using it soon. My apprentice does not deserve a quality tool bag. Keep up the good work my 4th favourite plumber.
I'm just starting my plumbing journey, I really like watching your videos as they are really informative and the quality of the bag looks really good. I can't wait to fully qualify!
Evening PB. I’ve had an apprentice electrician working on my central heating team for a council in Scotland, who having been thrown in the deep end with us lot has not only quickened his own pace, he has between times, been soldering boiler tails, restocking the vans, running condense hoses, digging soakaways, fishing microbore and all round dogs body. He had a pretty unfortunate year last year, the council, due to lack of heating upgrades being undertaken due to COVID, he spent 4 months off and failed his trade test to become a tradesman. He blames himself alot, however not exactly great prep being stuck in due a pandemic. Gutted for him, as he’s more than capable and a wee bag like this could show him how much we appreciate him when he’s on the team! 👍🏻
hello! i am a first year apprentice and I am litterally the most disorganised person on site! i think having a proper bag like the PB bag would give me a massive incentive to make sure i put all my tools and gear back properly every time i do a job! Thanks PB!
Hey PB - this is Bob. I'm five months into being an apprentice plumber at 48. COVID wiped out my 25-year career as a dental technician so I've reinvented myself as a residential new construction trimming plumber. I love all your bags, especially the large one and looking forward to the soldering kit.
Loving the look of the soldering bag. Looks great 👍 I’m a 43 year old apprentice and slowly building my kit up and that bag would be a great addition to anyone.
I have had this bag from January.and been used every day.great to put all the bit I need for a job in on bag and then my tool bag looks so much more professional.do wish it was a bit bigger.
Great bag design PB, the apprentice I work with shows me this bag every day and says he's saving up! He's even cut up his boxers waist strap and sewed it to side of his bag to hold his level, wish I could add a pic 🤣
Hiya I'm a apprentice my self and it looks like a really good bit of kit to organise and look after my tools love the videos educational and funny keep up the good work, as will I
I’m a Irish apprentice electrician and would love this bag for doing site work being able to load up in the morning and carry everything you exactly need in one bag and not running back to the van every hour, also knowing it’s a great design coming from a well known tradesman and him knowing what us trade people we need are bags to do from day to day, unfortunately I recently had all my tools nicked even my screw box’s from my van iv being in the game nearly 4 years now so iv collected a lot of expensive tools over my time and to have all your tools stolen in 2 minutes is sickening, this bag would give me a good start on collecting my tools again, cheers mate
At 38 I put myself through college to learn plumbing inspired by the likes of yourself, unequaled heating and a few more. Also driven by having a young family. I was mistaken and tormented by the young whipper snappers at plumbing school for a teacher, teased about my age, being an oldie but over 2 years made some great mates albeit young who will go on to be fantastic plumbers by the time they reach my age and anyone of them would be more deserving of this bag but unfortunately for them I'm here watching and I want this bag. Qualified in October 20, broke after school fees, had a few good private jobs which paid well and my lovely wife spent the money on vases with twigs, sunflowers and plastic butterflies rather then allow me to invest in our trade to build a better future for my family. As soon as I get paid ready to buy tools etc the curtains don't match the butterflies, then she needs a new rug to match the sunflowers and then we have net curtains with yellow and white daisies to match, so then the pink curtains get put on the conservatory doors cause the new curtains are yellow and grey so she buys a rug that's yellow grey a bit of white. Help me please. Did I mention she bought units for the sitting room with purple /pinky doors to match the butterflies then painted 2 walls purple and 2 walls a yellow lemon sorbet to tie in all the above? Jimmy x
The updates from the prototype to finished article definitely a game changer! Changing careers later on in life and being in a chance to win the bag is incredible. Best of luck everyone.
I am apprentice plumber and gas engineer, I am in my first year of my level 3 and I would love one of your tool bags! I have been watching you for years on Instagram and really enjoy watching your story’s, learn so much from them!
PB you are an absolute legend! I am desperate for a new bag but I've just had a baby so the Mrs says apparently the baby's stuff is more important 🤷🏻♂️ Keep up the great work!! 🙌
hi another great video i’m an apprentice and your videos help so much with learning different skills and techniques would love that bag looks so organised
Hi, I'm a level 3 gas apprentice, just been given my first van and have a couple of veto bags but having this PB jobbing bag would make it so much easier and much more productive. Cheers
This would be great for my apprentice. We're in HVAC not plumbing, but this would be perfect to kit out for drain lines or refer piping. Awesome job designing it man! Definitely getting your soldering bag for myself to kit out for refrigeration jobs!
I am an apprentice heating engineer and find your videos a helpful way of working out some of the more complex written stuff, would love one of your bags when I start out hopefully once covid is over so I can take final exams , thanks
Apprentice here PB. I’m starting to gain more confidence working by my self, doing little and even slightly larger jobs for friends and family along side my apprenticeship. Currently working towards my level 3. The bag would be great!
Hiya PB, I’m a first year plumbing and heating apprentice. Your vids have been great for giving me a bit of extra knowledge along with my work!!! Would love that bag as I’m just getting round to buying tools and this would be a great help, stay safe!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Pete, I’d love a bag like this! After a very hard year I’m starting a career in plumbing and your videos/tweets etc have not only been entertaining but are a god send to people like me. Really appreciate the time and effort you put into the social stuff you do 👍
Yes PB !! been a fan since I was at college follow your stories on Instagram and have been subscribed to the channel also. Finally managed to start my apprenticeship as a plumber and would love to have one of these bags to take with me on jobs. Just done a job today which involved changing some rads 👍
Hi PB I’m an apprentice bathroom fitter in my last year, followed you for quite a while now and love how you explain stuff and your tips! Another apprentice I work with has your PB bag which he got when you first released them and he’s kitted it out amazing! I wouldn’t mind something like this to go with my current tools and to add to this. Cheers
Looks great. I'm an older apprentice getting into the trade and I would like the bag to help with carrying everyone's bits and looks great. Keep up the great bids and see you sunday
I’m an apprentice in Essex. On my 1st of 4th year. Just trying to get my tools up. Your bag seems ideal for my needs. Nether the less if I’m chosen, enjoy all your videos and learn loads from them
I like the look of the soldering bag i made my own one up but would be handy to be a bit bigger with more pockets to separate tools as i have to take bits out to get to some of the tools
Hi I'm an apprentice and love looking after my tools and having specific places for them this bag would help out loads with keeping the tools organised and keep them in style!! fingers cross and love the vids really learn a lot.
Hi mate I’m an apprentice plumber and gas engineer, I would love this bag because it would make my life so much easier at work, looks the perfect bag, great design👍
Just started my apprenticeship as a plumber and I’ve not got a lot of kit so anything extra would be really helpful for work, Glad to see ur back on TH-cam mate the videos are a good watch :)
I’m an apprentice and would love to get this bag. It’s hard enough trying to buy tool and kit on an apprentices wage and love that you are looking out for the future generations. Keep up the good work
Hey Pete yet another great kit bag looking forward to seeing the service bag come to life might hold off buying another backpack !! Have you got a time scale to when the service bag will be available! Also I have an apprentice that I think deserves the jobbing bag he is in his last year of college sitting his acs and with COVID this have proved to be a difficult as the college are behind 8 months but he has stuck with it this would be a great reward for him !
Nice one PB.....the jobbing bag is just the right size at 17x 9 I think and looks well thought out I’m waiting for the soldering bag to come on sale as I really need a new one and it looks spot on for its purpose....👍 cheers mate
Hi mate love you videos so glade you’re back I am currently at college studying level 2 and recently got a part time job with a plumber would love to have one of your bags because I bought myself some tools but the only toolbox I have is a old worn out one. thanks
Love both the bags! I'm not an apprentice so I ll be parting with some of my hard earned money for that soldering bag on its release! My Dickie dyer zip up bag droops like an old mans balls. Loving the new intro! Just been watching series called "Glow" very similar 80s vibe! Good to have you back 👍
Finished bag looks great perfect size for taking what you need like the little tub aswell looks well handy saves time not trying to find screws and fittings in bottom of bag. And if u want the work mat can always buy the 7.0 version instead
Yeah I'm an apprentice plumber going onto my level 3 in september. I bought your 7.0 bag, and I loved it to bits tbf. The soldering bag looks mega aswell, I'd like the bad just cause I know how much thought is put into these bags and how much smoother they can make jobs and how well made they are.
Excellent tool bag! I agree with the smaller 15x8 bag, i think if its too big you'll carry stuff you won't use on a daily basis and it'll also bog the bag down and make it out of balance. My wife is my apprentice.... Not sure this is what she means when she says she wants a new bag but it would be extremely handy for her tools!
Hi Pete, I’m so glad your back making videos again! Always educational and informative. I am currently a level 3 nvq apprentice and this bag would suit perfectly for the site work I participate in as I don’t like leaving my full kit bag out around others so with your jobbing bag I can take what’s only essential. Keep up with the vids, really inspirational as it aspires me to carry out my jobs to the PB standard👍 Regards Morgan
Love my 7.0 bag but she’s a heavy beast when loaded up! Got to be careful going though doors when using shoulder strap. Great work as always PB. Top bloke!
HI PB, love the youtube videos and Instagram, also love velocity bags and would absolutely love that jobbing bag perfect for small jobs, keep up the good work mate.
Hi I’m a apprentice and would love this bag I’m fed up of my bag folding up when I’m trying to look for my tools and knowing you designed it it’s going to be great for a plumber
Brilliant idea, PB. Don’t always need the whole kit bag and definitely don’t always fancy carrying the whole thing half a mile or up 5 flights of stairs to change one rad or tap 😂. Would love to win this, would be great present for coming out of my apprenticeship 👍
Looks good Pete & good to have you back regularly, We have a few apprentices, but one which is about to qualify this year. It would be a great time for him to get this. Best Wishes Mate 👍🔧
I brought the 5.0 backpack for my first tool bag when I watched your video. I would like another bag to go with it. I’ve finished my level 2 and going on to my gas.
A just bought this bag two weeks ago and find the concept of throwing a smaller selection of tools into it makes great sense I have lobbed the plastic insert out in favour of the extra room and would have liked the wide pocket on the end to have been parallel from top to bottom to make it more accessible for wider items and find the double strap handles a bit on the thick side for getting a comfortable grip.i am contemplating removing the leather on the straps to narrow the grip .I don't consider myself to have small hands but feel it will make the grip more secure. Size and weight are good as is construction but after 35 years in the trade would still say I've yet to find a proper winner.so far the nearest one to come close is veto MCT .
Sound mate, I’m in my last year of gas at your old college, Leicester freeman’s common, the jobbing bag would do me lovely for rad valves as I do them often and just general uses. Cheers
Hi I’m an apprentice and would love to get one of your bags it’s hard finding the right kit to use but knowing you helped design it you know it’s going to be right for any job
Hi pb, names toby and i started apprenticeship in plumbing recently and the bag would be a massive help, great vids recently as well they’re v useful to learn techniques from others and by far best on youtube imo, cheers
Nice vids pb. Have you got full review of soldering bag yet. I currently use raaco tray and like it. But fed up of plastic bits. Will order once see it loaded out.Cheers
Just like to say thanx. Top quality gear you’ve got me hooked on. Just a thought what about another unclipable base on the bottom of the existing one. For more storage for tools or a large drip tray 👌
Hi Peter! Im apprentice, i love your jobbing bag! I have you main one and most of the times gets a bit heavy for small jobs!!! Hope im be the lucky one! 🙏👊
I'm in the process of doing my ACS. Would absolutely love to have the bag as I cannot afford it yet and I know it will be great designed by you and made by velocity..
I'm not a apprentice. I commented on your previous video. The shoulder strap had snapped on my first day on a new job. One handle strap has broken now, so I currently have a site clutch bag 🤣 it would be a dream to have one of your bags
Hi pb, I'm a trannie installer for my brother's company and we met you at a tool show at the festool booth I didn't really say much but your a sound guy, would love the bag as I am currently using my brother's old Stanley tote, as he's got a veto 🤣 love the content, has helped me learn allot to impress my brother, keep up the good work
I wish the soldering bag had a detachable handle strap clip like the rogue 4.0 and 6.0 to move the handle out of the way when working, would have been nice that
I spoke to Tony about that because a few people asked for it but he said if we put the clip on the handle it would fall flat down onto the bag and be more in the way
Hi mate. I’m an apprentice currently getting my gas. I have been saving up to buy the bag but the apprentice money isn’t great haha. I would love this bag. Great role model. Thank you
Hi PB I'm an apprentice plumber looking to start to build my own tool kit and this would be the perfect start for me to do so, also I would like to say I'm new to your videos and im really enjoying watching some of your tips and tricks they have been really helpful 👍🏻
im an apprentice starting to do little jobs on my own and couldn't defiantly do with this rather than hauling all my kit in and out of the job for those little jobs hanging rads changing valves perfect bag for me that
@@PBPlumber Cheers. I've got 4 Veto's but that solder and even the jobbing bag are perfection for us Plumbers/heating guys. You've really nailed it mate fairplay. Oh and I think the smaller version of the jobbing bag is the winner as we're all the same, more space means we just fill it and end up carrying too much onto the job :)
Looks great! Always thought standley made good bags but after using a OT-MC open top and other velocity is all I’d go to now. Would love to get my hands on this to be honest great bag many uses in mind for it. Keep up the work! 👍🏻
Hello! Love your videos watch them all the time and follow your insta. I’m an apprentice. Currently got a steel tool box. Not the easiest to use when on the go so would really love this bag. Great design. Soon going to be starting my gas course! Keep up the great work 👌🏼🤞🏼
Ive watched your whole journey to Asia the whole process picking and deciding the products to use so makes sense the prices for these tool bags, honestly its just the price thats the only thing i find a bit high for me personally. Big fan pb gd luck with it all
I'd love to own the jobbing bag be really handy for flats I'm first fixing atm with my boss go alone nice with the pb solder bag I've preordered. Another good video mate keep them coming 👍👍
Anatomy of a plumbers tool bag. Awesome. Love your thought process. The tool bags are great, long gone are the days of the plumbers roll up canvas bags carried on top of the shoulder.
Showing my age now.
Loving your work PB.
Love the new intro pb.
Thanks neil 🙏🏽
Been plumbing just over 2 years as an apprentice and finding the right tool bag to take into the job is hard I watch your videos to help me out with the kit I need and best way to do thing and these velocity bags look amazing wanna get my hands on one

Cheers PB
Sounds like a good kid 💯
Nice and compact good for small jobs. Can’t wait for the soldering bag too. Keep up the good work and good to see you back on TH-cam 🙏👍
Thank you mate, glad to be back
Mate I've got a keen apprentice who never goes off sick always on time , I just won't him to win this bag to see his face as he like me is a fan of yours. Keep up the good work bud
My apprentice works his nut off and uses tubs and my old bag. We both enjoy your videos- keep going mate and glad your back
Love the video. Great ideas going into the bags, Designed by a plumber for a plumber perfect👍. I have an apprentice who would love this bag, trying to show him being tidy and well organised for the job in hand.

Didn't think I needed this bag, I've already got the 7.0 ..... Then I watched the video and then I realised I needed this bag too!! Just ordered.

And if u want the work mat can always buy the 7.0 version instead
Thanks mate

Keep up with the vids, really inspirational as it aspires me to carry out my jobs to the PB standard👍
Regards Morgan
Love my 7.0 bag but she’s a heavy beast when loaded up! Got to be careful going though doors when using shoulder strap. Great work as always PB. Top bloke!

We have a few apprentices, but one which is about to qualify this year. It would be a great time for him to get this.
Best Wishes Mate 👍🔧
Hi mate I’m an apprentice and I’ve just started to get my own tools, the jobbing bag would be perfect and be of so much use and perfect for a plumber
Cool intro!👍
Cheers
That’s the college I went to! Safeway for lunch (think it’s a Morrison’s now)
Hi I’m an apprentice and would love to get one of your bags it’s hard finding the right kit to use but knowing you helped design it you know it’s going to be right for any job
Thanks Mark
@richard dawson ???
Badass intro mate!!!
Great video mate. Would love to have the bag for somewhere to put my new tools as just started my apprenticeship.
Looks great would love to win, would be a great addition to the tool kit
I'm not a apprentice. I commented on your previous video. The shoulder strap had snapped on my first day on a new job. One handle strap has broken now, so I currently have a site clutch bag 🤣 it would be a dream to have one of your bags
Awesome design mate, I’m starting out as a plumber, currently at college and would love to be in the running to win this. Loving the videos!
Hi pb, I'm a trannie installer for my brother's company and we met you at a tool show at the festool booth I didn't really say much but your a sound guy, would love the bag as I am currently using my brother's old Stanley tote, as he's got a veto 🤣 love the content, has helped me learn allot to impress my brother, keep up the good work
I wish the soldering bag had a detachable handle strap clip like the rogue 4.0 and 6.0 to move the handle out of the way when working, would have been nice that
I spoke to Tony about that because a few people asked for it but he said if we put the clip on the handle it would fall flat down onto the bag and be more in the way
@@PBPlumber I think if you put it on the far left or far right it would've been semi ok but I get what he means
Got one last week, it’s mint. Perfect size, I use it along side my main kit bag for tubs etc. Nice one Pete, still awaiting my stickers tho😉.
Bag has my initials! Got the veto back pack but these look just as good
Looking forward to the servicing bag 🧑🔧
Yeah me too it’s looking good so far 🤞🏽
When is the service bag coming out
im an apprentice starting to do little jobs on my own and couldn't defiantly do with this rather than hauling all my kit in and out of the job for those little jobs hanging rads changing valves perfect bag for me that
That solder bag!!!!! I want!!!!!
haha me too! They are on pre-order and release 17th march
@@PBPlumber They're not taking anymore pre orders by the look :(
@@leerolfe5332 they sell out way too fast 😭
I think another preorder will go live nearer the time mate
Keep up the great work 👌🏼🤞🏼
Hi , I would love this bag, as i am 28 stone and if i take all the tools out I could possibly fit my lunch in it😂
Great bags.
I’m an apprentice and this would be a great first tool bag as I’ve been looking for the right one to suit me.
When i was on site i used to use a pale just load it up for the jobs that day on site. Great bag mate 👍
Thanks Sean
Ive watched your whole journey to Asia the whole process picking and deciding the products to use so makes sense the prices for these tool bags, honestly its just the price thats the only thing i find a bit high for me personally. Big fan pb gd luck with it all
I'd love to own the jobbing bag be really handy for flats I'm first fixing atm with my boss go alone nice with the pb solder bag I've preordered. Another good video mate keep them coming 👍👍
