The comment below summed it up right. Happiness or the secret of life is not a science equation. Life is filled to the brim with sorrow. Happiness is a choice in the midst of problems, because there's no such thing as life without them. Serve God, be ready to go, make the best of it; because this world is temporary and all these lusts and perversions are going to burn away with or without you.

what if you're a comfortable "anti-social" and don't care about relationships anyways

@Deekshant Belwal YES. I really don't like it when people use that term "antisocial" that way. Antisocial means criminal, or otherwise antagonistic/hostile to society or social rules. It doesn't mean "loner", "introvert", "reserved", etc. _Asocial_ would also work.

Work-life balance = work to make a decent living + working-out + go out with friends + see family often+ perform one major hobby + sleep well. Not that complicated...

Not everyone can be an executive. Nor can everyone be an entrepreneur, that is inefficient. Someone has to clean the building. And they are a far greater number as well.
How to evaluate those people's lives ?
Or is it a policy of "We screw them, so we don't care." ?

This explenation is to complicated. Life succes is work little and still earn good money so you can have a lot of free time for family and travel, be healthy, have a beautiful wife who is not stressing you all the time and who enjoys beeing with you and taking care of you like you do...

The $600M question nobody's talking about or answering is: _how did these 'successful' people manage to determine this themselves without being told it_ ? Or were they (Told, that is)?

In my experience all work sucks and theres not joy during freetime either. Basically, if you have good genetics, are rich, and lucky, then you might manage a good life. Not much hope for anyone else.

We are the one who defines what life is, theres no "success" formula, to me is not happiness, its just an illusion, life is just about what you have experienced and perceived, the ultimate destination in the end is not happiness, but realisation.

What a crock of crap. Happiness is simple; it depends on being satisfied with what you have. Nothing more, nothing less.

The youth should never be responsible for the way their family operates. It is the parents who have parented their family in the direction that it goes. So also the people should never be responsible for how their society functions to fulfill their lives. It is the ruling class who have ruled their society in the direction that it goes. When you have a nation like the USA which somehow expects its people to bear the burden of government then you get what you would get if you expected teenagers to lead their family. They will play games. They will eat sweets. They will avoid working too hard and they will work to play since they don't understand how society is built up in the first place and how a nation actually grows stronger since they do not have the perspective which the ruling class would have. It is an abomination, not a nation.
Wake up people, that if you rebel against kingship you have rebelled against the Lord, who is the King of kings. Do not throw your lot in with their philosophy and mentality. Then you will be free to understand what service you are to commit to the king, who is in fact supposed to be of your bone and flesh, to care for you as a people for the good of all. When you are connected to one another in this way, then the relationships between us matter again since we know that we are not working as slaves to ourselves but that we are working for each other for the good and strength of our society. Then you will have the encouragement and strength to wake up everyday and go to work. All others merely delude themselves in thinking they will have an enriched life for themselves alone and that this is enough to be encouraged to get up everyday to go to work. Wake up children, that is not the truth. We are all in this together.
