Update: Just to clear it up I am officially aware now of how storm regained her powers. I apologize for any clenched fists and deep breathing that my stupidity has caused. My actions were careless and probably hurt untold quantities of viewers. I’m happy to report though that I am a changed man who has seen the error of his ways. All I can do now is hope that those I wronged will one day find it in their hearts to forgive me. 🙏🏻
@@Eric_Rosas one of the single best acted lines "there was that lie!" Right up there with "i can't feel you". That entire scene was so good. My only complaint was the thought "so forge is kinda waiting" but it was 100% perfect.
@@JayOwinFull Yeah I agree there have been some surprisingly powerful moments. It's kind of crazy when I consider its a continuation of a cartoon I grew up with.
Storm got her powers back because: 1. Forges machine worked and removed the radiation that she was shot with. 2. She defeated the adversary which was a manifestation of her self doubt, fears and hatred. She should’ve been able to use her powers in life death part 1 after she used the machine. However her self doubt persisted represented by the owl flying overhead. Once her emotions started to peak the adversary made itself known biting forge. Storm is a allegory for emotional control. Her weather manipulation ability’s are highly tied to her emotional state. When she didn’t have her powers her latent magical lineage made the Adversary manifest thru her emotions not being controlled. At least that’s how I interpreted it from comics and 97.
X-men 97 is awesome. The X-men were not woke though. They demanded excellence out of the students of Xavier, live up to a dream to be noble and better than those who acted out of hate. They struggled to peacefully coexist. No propaganda and it and it wasn’t forced. They knew their powers made them dangerous. Like having a loaded gun/2nd amendment. They had to train to be responsible with their powers, The X-men acted out of heroism to be better. Not out of spite, which is how the marvel comics and cinema characters act now. All entitled rage and anger and not raising themselves to act like better people. This series is so refreshing, complex and still a soap opera.
storm didn't get her powers back from fighting the adversary. She got her powers back when forged put her through the thing. she just needed to work through the guilt of questioning if she should be human. At least that's my opinion. Great video, bro.
It's simple. Storm was fixed by Forge's machine. Storm was just so tied up in dispair and fear her powers were blocked. That why when she embrace her fear and pain and faced her fear she was able to free herself.

Fun fact: Gladiator aka Kallek is a Strontian. Strontium is next to Krypton on the Periodic Table
I love cool factoids like that! Thanks for putting that in the comments 🙏🏻
Forge's machine worked. The rest was in her head.
I see thanks for filling me in! It was an awesome scene.

💯
When people say the X-Men are preaching or woke I assume they've never read the comics or watched the original 90s series...
I agree it’s literally what the entire point of the story is all about. The struggle for acceptance in the face of ignorance.

Yeah that part kinda slipped past me somehow haha but yeah that scene where she got the black suit was absolutely incredible! Thank you 🙏🏻
"Milky Way ghetto."
*Get. Bishop. STAT.*
That line was hilarious 😂
Was she wrong though?
She wasn’t!
Forge's machine worked, it was just Ororo needed to believe Neo style to unlock it.
What did you think of X-Men 97 Episode 6?
I thought storm regaining her powers was awesome.
Yeah that scene was seriously epic!

Yeah it was cleared up in the comments quite early. Makes sense! I shall turn myself in directly to X-Men jail for being an idiot.
This show is amazing. All this hate just to get the greatest
Yeah I felt I was going to find enjoyment regardless but this was an incredible surprise! They really went all out for this.
There's ten episodes total so you've got four more to go
Thanks for letting me know. Someone told me yesterday. I edited the video but I do appreciate the heads up!
