I loved the introduction. Not wanting to be too closely involved with the Realm of the Mad God community is genuinely so relatable. You can get so much hate in this game for the most god awful reasons. That aside though, overall a great video. One thing to keep in mind is that once you set up a formula (such as ranking classes based off of how good they are in a group setting), you want to follow that formula otherwise people will critique you. You should make a class tier list just for you because I could tell you wanted to rank rogue a lot higher but felt you could not do so based off the rules you already applied. Also I, and a few others highly disagreed on where you ranked the priest based off the rules you put in play near the beginning of the video.
I respectfully disagree with your take on the priest. I've put 3500 hours into Priest alone over 2 years and I personally find value in playing mushroom tome for the team, because I like the idea of potentially saving someone's character. you can make the argument where if the boss dies faster if I instead chose a DPS class over Priest to end the run sooner, in result saving people indirectly, but with how much variables come with running dungeons with the group, the speeds at which they are completed vary, therefore I don't personally think it hurts to have at least one competent mushroom tome priest in the run. Good priests allow damage classes to push in more for extra damage as well, so that contradicts the health scaling issue. Just because the raiding discords do or believe something doesn't make or break anything, but a lot of them value the good tomes for priests, and a good priest for that matter. Even after the mushroom tome nerf its still very usable, and they understand the worth of including a priest in a run. I agree that the priest doesn't have very many good options in terms of good reliable healing, and also that not every priest is unselfish as I am, but that goes the same for not everyone is amazing at DPS. I serve the Realm Community as a devoted support player, its what I enjoy.
I mean the title is literally just, "ranked from worst to best", so you can really argue anything because of how vague it is. At least he wasn't like Sebchoof and ranked wizard as the 5th worst class for a BEGINNER tier list. Edit: I spoke too soon. He did go through ranking every class based off of how good it is in a group setting. He started by saying ninja was bad because it doesn't help the group, bard is bad because it barely helps the group and you never want more than 1, and assassin is pretty low because it's only a little bit of damage per second plus a possible armor break. But then he ranks priest because it doesn't help the group. He made a decent argument with the endgame stuff demanding you to basically never get hit because that definitely feels true sometimes and is objectively true with patience type phases. But at the same time, there's plenty of endgame fights where having a priest heal you really comes in handy, and when you would normally have to back out of the fight or even nexus because of a small screw up, a priest comes in to save you from having to do so. Unfortunately he made himself wrong by setting up a formula of how good a class is in a group setting but then not following it up when ranking the priest, which I honestly did not expect him to do based off of the title alone.
Nice different perspective, though i disagree with you on certain types. Priest with mushrooms tomb is amazing for groups survivability, i love Kensei as i have mastered his ability to be surviving when O3 or Shatters is in a pickle. Speed is imo that key to survival as most end game fights ignores def so being fast or ranged is key + assassin is my highest dps just because i know how to play it well
Imagine putting the higher skill classes (kensei, trix and arguably mystic) for no good reason. Kensei while not the best class if played well can outperform many other classes, especially classes such as archer and huntress. trickster is one of the most useful classes in the game, you dont need to dodge at all if the enemy isnt shooting at you and it also has daze which halves the amount of shots coming at you. And mystic, if i remember correctly, has the highest amount of debuffs available of any class and can do incredible dps at the same time. all 3 of these along with rogue are also very good at rushing dungeons especially ones such as halls and I'd pick rogue with a planewalker or a trix over warrior to rush anyday
You make some good points, and I agree Mystic is extremely good. The low placing for that was due to the trolling of other players and very common misuse of the class
