I've been watching your videos for 2 years trying to decide between a Polaris 570 and Wildcat Trail you guys are spot on fun to watch thank you I'm going with the Wildcat Trail I'm an old dude and I'm heading out west from Florida spend the rest of my life exploring the mountains my motorcycle and my Wildcat thanks for all your great videos
bought mine 6 months ago , no problems so far and im loving it. suspension works great engine has good power its a fun machine looking forward for many years of fun. great job ARTIC CAT..............
I've been waiting for a decent review of this machine, good job!. I think i will have to trade my Sportsman 500 EFI in on the Wildcat Trail. I'm really glad to see that someone came out with a competitive machine to the RZR with a locking front differential, half doors and adjustable shocks.
Bought this machine new in the XT version in 2015. No problems. Gets to 110kmh pretty quickly. It has a true locking front diff and a very low range. The Fox shocks were easy to set up and they ride excellent. I did not like the stock tires too much so I changed them ($400). Its not the new XX that is for sure but for this category it is the best by far in my opinion.
The transmission on my wildcat trail has had to have been replaced every time I leave for a long weekend. Don't worry, arctic cat have poor dealer support in my area so it only takes two months to get it back each time.
I love my Trail, only issue I have with it is the clearance, in rough trails it is too low. I cracked my driver side panel (wheel well) not even 10 hours of trail riding, thankfully arcticcat replaced it free of charge for me. Allot of people mock me for buying an arctic cat because of build quality. I really hope to prove them wrong. And oh ya, it's fast as hell!!
+Eric B I have, they are available, but I've settled for a bigger set of tires which should help the clearance issue... I enjoy the sporty feel, so I'd rather not get a lift kit
+joshua monk only issue I had is the heat shield, it got loose and started to rattle, had it replaced and it did happened again. I'm actually going to remove it completely and replace it with heat wrap... over 5000 km on it so far, can't really complain
+Jean-Marc Beaulne thanks for getting back to me so quick so you said you've got over five thousand kilometers on it and the only problem you had as a heat shield that's pretty good good to hear
I'm interested in getting a 2014 700cc with 1200 miles used. I'm kind of afraid to buy it. The dealer said it needs a new belt which they're going to replace. I'm just worried about spending 7k and having to get a rebuild. Anyone have any suggestions or comments? I almost would rather buy one brand new
Ok I didnt think you could shift high to low then back on the fly is this something new? I also noticed an extra heat shield behind the exhaust manifold do they all come like that?
Owning a rzr 570 i still see these as the machine to get for the price they are just better built and better specs i can get over ugly because i think any side x side is ugly vs a good truck or jeep converted for trails
Are arctic cats reliable? My 2012 425 atv has broken 3 clutches in 6 months and I don't abuse it just trail ride it mostly very disappointed with arctic cat
TheCodasaurus I hear you man, and you can always take that extra cash you saved and put on all your accessories instead of paying 14500 then another 3k on top of that!
+darcy Cherot Nice try on what? I am quite serious. I went and bought one. I will be picking it up on Saturday so happy! :). They also gave me 15% off anything in the catalog with the purchase. And they gave me a smokin deal on a warn 3000 lb winch.
Show me a video of the 900 Rzr "blowing" the Trail away. Not happening. The Trail is still lighter and has a better clutch system. This will keep the race dead even or probably the Trail winning by a little bit. If your still talking trash the Trail with 3 simple mods will beat the xp1000 and Mavrick Xrs. Oh yeah there's videos to prove this. Sorry PoPooolaris. If you want and like your machine spending more time in the dealership getting fix then yes by a Rzr or any Polaris machine but if you enjoy riding then the Wildcat Trail is the only way to go.
The only problem I have with arctic cat is their spindly suspension and frame and obviously it's ugly lol. They seem to be great running and lasting machines but I've seen too many of them fold up over little crashes. They're just under built in my opinion.

2023 and we absolutely love our 2017 Wildcat 700
How many miles you have on it?
Awesome vid, do u guys like the wildcat better or the polaris is still on top?
love the show!! keep up the good videos!
machine is nice and had the 50" for perhaps a few months but with the latest RZR group..Will be very short lived!
I own a 2017 trail and I love it.
Becoming such a big fan of Arctic Cat, I might even trade in my Kodiak.
The transmission on my wildcat trail has had to have been replaced every time I leave for a long weekend. Don't worry, arctic cat have poor dealer support in my area so it only takes two months to get it back each time.
Love the show guys. Great review.

+Jean-Marc Beaulne I'm thinking about getting a trail but clearance is my concern. Have you looked at any of the aftermarket lift kits?
+Eric B I have, they are available, but I've settled for a bigger set of tires which should help the clearance issue... I enjoy the sporty feel, so I'd rather not get a lift kit
haw is it holding up any problems?
+joshua monk only issue I had is the heat shield, it got loose and started to rattle, had it replaced and it did happened again. I'm actually going to remove it completely and replace it with heat wrap... over 5000 km on it so far, can't really complain

Whens then scrambler 1000 going to be reviewed
My atv is starting to cost me more in maintenance then a monthly payment, now I'm Realy thinking about getting one
+Simon Morris wtf are you doing to it?

Glad they're replacing the belt. if you're buying from the dealer are they offering any kind of warranty with it?

i think they finally hit a home run with this trail sxs. Now they need to stick that 700 in to there mudpro's.
Are arctic cats reliable? My 2012 425 atv has broken 3 clutches in 6 months and I don't abuse it just trail ride it mostly very disappointed with arctic cat
great vid guys keep it up!
Keep up the good reviews
I wanna see a reveiw on the can am xmrs
Can you shift on the fly
Bummed that Arctic Cat killed off this model. I think it's a HUGE mistake given your review.
Seems like a great machine!
great. but when can we see the sport!!!!!!!???????
What is the fuel consumption like?
Excellent in our 2017
Would 25 inch mud zillias be to hard on a honda recon 250 the stock tires are 20lbs and the mudzillias are 24 pounds
no
Is this a good entry level SxS
Ummm, on the fly shifting from low to high, not a good idea!!
Rzr 900 S 50 inch wide just came out , to bad artic cat :(
Polaris blows the kitty away.
TheCodasaurus I hear you man, and you can always take that extra cash you saved and put on all your accessories instead of paying 14500 then another 3k on top of that!
+Graham Davis They are blowing out the 2015 Wildcat trail base for $10,600 here in Langley, BC I may just have to get one!
+Patrick Connolly Nice try, Arctic Cat salesman
+darcy Cherot Nice try on what? I am quite serious. I went and bought one. I will be
picking it up on Saturday so happy! :). They also gave me 15% off
anything in the catalog with the purchase. And they gave me a smokin

Great video, will consider next time out shopping for a new utv :)

How much fuel it consumes?
Very decent fuel consumption
And then Polaris comes out with the 900 RZR EPS 50" Trail and blows the kitty away.
Basically
yet to be seen, I have my doubts. The trail is wicked fast, on soft terrain, my tires spin out for at least 100 feet+
+acstorm07 Yes but the price! Ouch.
Polatis rzr s 900 has 75h and its 50''
its over 1000 lbs though, so it can't be registered here
The 900 S is 60" wide. Now the NEW 900 EPS Trail is 50" wide.
to me its to low.needs longer arms and needs to be lifted up more
You can buy a lift kit
Looks easy to flip
I heardrzr can catch on fire because the mufflers
I heard you work for Polaris.
No I don't work at Polaris I just heard that catch fire by themuffler
Cameron Gray The RZR has had the same problem.
Have u tried articat trail
Cameron Gray No. I have a Pioneer. I like the RZR and Wildcat, but i need some utility use from my SxS.
Fuggly!
Junk.
Looks cheap
The only problem I have with arctic cat is their spindly suspension and frame and obviously it's ugly lol. They seem to be great running and lasting machines but I've seen too many of them fold up over little crashes. They're just under built in my opinion.
What
Not to bad but it is pretty ugly
EPS is amazing on my '15 Trail, especially with my tracks
Who males the best side by side..well arctic cat is quality asf
