Wild70 by UTMB.
Ultra trail race of 72 kilometers on 13th September 2024 starting and finishing in the Swiss town Crans-Montana.
Due to heavy snow and sub-zero temporatures, the course was altered, no longer starting from Kandersteg instead it would start and end in Crans and the course would stay within the Valais valley.
Wild 70 - Wildstrubel by UTMB was a challenging ultra trail race with plenty of steep climbs and slippery descents, it was tough on the quads. The unexpected cold conditions meant you had to keep moving at all times, a prolonged stay at an aid station was not a good idea.
