Hopefully in 50 years these "smart" dispensers can be kitchen appliances (Very unrealistic, as you constantly need to change the filters with something that has dozens of drinks, but a guy can dream)
I worked somewhere where they had these freestyle machines and it's actually not that difficult to change out them! They come in small like box cartridges.
The cup you're issued by the cruise line has an RFID chip which keeps track of how many drinks you used for the day and suspends your pours once you've exceeded your limit. So don't think you can experiment with endless amounts of soda options.
The first time I saw the Coca Cola Freestyle machine was around 2009 or 2011. I was at the Atlanta airport. I believe the machine was at Burger King. I got to experience it for the first time when I went to Wendy’s in 2011.
I LOVE the Coke Freestyle machines, so much better than waiting on lines to get a soda (Carnival). Love Love Love these machines. I just wish they had a selection for Sweet Tea's. But this is great that Royal has this
I know how to manually open up any cocoa freestyle machine with a secret code trick I use to work for an amusement park that had freestyle machines and I was in charge of refilling them putting ice them etc. so they taught me the secret code how to unlock it turns out ever freestyle machine everywhere is like that even the ones at Wendy’s I tried on one in chickamauga Tennessee to see if that trick works and it does thank god they didnt catch me but it’s a very simple and useful tool to get inside of the freestyle machines flavor packs and machine hardware im not gonna say it cuz I don’t want people to change the code but it’s very easy
This machine is the biggest mistake to happen to a cruise ship. So many variables go into play for justifying a Freestyle placement. If & when it malfunctions, who is going to take care of the maintenance? Does Coca Cola need a dedicated technician on board at all times? Worst idea ever. Stick to 12oz cans.
What a curmudgeon. Dedicated technician? They are not performing surgeries here. You can train someone for 2 days and they’ll be an expert. Or if they can’t repair it, you get your drink at the bar like every other cruise ship. These drink machines are amazing.

We have one at a local Fuddruckers. I find the technology amazing. The ability to have so many flavors use the same spout without having them mix.

This beverage machine is really great, have used it in other venues and was very satisfied. Carnival cruise lines should try it out!

If you press short. Then you can add another flavor. Till 0,5 liter. So You can add more flavors till 0,5 liter. Enjoy!

No, you would need at least a soda package to use the machines.

They give so many options! We couldn't find plain water in there, or sugar-free syrups, but still... love it!! :D
