    Nice pick of tools. Great hit on the 24 in, Crescent wrench .

      That's a big one! I don't believe they are made in the USA anymore so it is nice to have one. Thank you for watching!

    The tool at the 9 minute mark is a engine fan removal wrench set.

      Now that you say it I do remember seeing these for the fan clutch that screws on. One to hold the pulley and one to turn the clutch nut. Thanks for the info and for watching!

    9:27 Blue handle T thingy looks like a golf shoe spike wrench. They are used to change the spikes on your golf shoes.

    5:40 Plastic tools for prodding, prying, scraping are keepers: very useful to have a box of those things, many uses and applications where surfaces need to be protected. Similarly, a dull knife has a thousand uses, and this one is really cool, nice pattern on the blade.

      I have some plastic pry bars already but will be keeping these as they may have different patterns on them. Thanks for watching!

    Yellow bars at the end are for bicycle tires

    That Craftsman pick set is a rebranded Ullman set branded as Craftsman,Ullman made those.That Craftsman Pro pick set,Mayhew made those for Craftsman.Those clutch drive screwdrivers,Holley carbs use them.Also used in older mobile homes.Those Craftsman pro wrenches,the first ones were made by SK and one way to tell is a letter K stamped on the wrenches

      Thanks for all the info! I like Craftsman overall but it is funny how people really pay up for certain items when they could go to the source and but a cheaper version made by the same people. I was thinking of doing some tool truck alternative videos in the future. Why pay 3x as much for the same tool? Thanks for watching!

    0:10 Do people look for full sets when they buy metric wrenches in the US? I understand the desire to have URRRVERYTHING just in case, but 5 to 7 wrenches in the most common sizes will get you very far, the rest can be handled with adjustable wrenches or pliers.

    • @thetoolbandit
      @thetoolbandit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A lot of mechanics and people who collect tools like to have the full set, even though most people know half of them will barely get used :) Thanks for watching!

    I had an early 1960’s Step Van that all the interior screws were clutch head, including the sheet metal wall paneling. It SUUUUUUCKED getting those out without the proper screwdriver! 😂

    • @thetoolbandit
      @thetoolbandit  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like no one was going to steal any interior parts! Thanks for watching!

    My guess....Not certain. Those large unmarked wrenches (3) were used for the cones on headsets for older bicycles. The thin profile was needed. Great video!

      Not complaining, an auction is a bit of a gamble. I paid a fair price, didn't steal but also didn't get hurt. Thanks for watching!

    Can I ask where do you buy this stuff? Is it available online I’d like to try my luck?

    • @thetoolbandit
      @thetoolbandit  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This particular one was an online auction. It is a bit of a gamble. I also find stuff in person at many different platforms. Some auctions are local, some ship. I just paid $300 to ship the tools I won so you need to be careful. Thanks for watching.
