President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter are the definition of humanity. I have never cried when any other of our First Lady's were laid to rest, I am crying now.
I too am shedding tears.
Both President Carter and First Lady Rosalynn were truly " Good and faithful public servants and of God". RIP.

My uncle and aunt had their photographs taken with both President Carter and the 1st lady of the United States on a visit to Georgia in about 2013. My aunt's son lives in Georgia and knows members of the family. I gather, from them, that Mrs Carter was a lovely lady.
What a great couple, he ask for a moment alono to said bye to his love and companion, that is very romantic and sad to say bye to her. He always was very special with her and her children, I know that he will be next and he will be counting the days that they get together for ever.
At a time of such hatred displayed by a former guy and his followers, whereas Mrs. Carter's passing is a huge loss and sadness, her legacy and the befitting tribute to her is like medicine for us at this time to remind us what has been and can be again.
The Former First Lady Mrs. Rosalyn Carter was definitely a woman of grace & dignity. RIP 🙏 Sending heartfelt prayers & condolences to the family. 🙏💔🙏

My Mom was born when she was and that Greatest Generation that grew up in the Great Depression then served in WW2, and Korea and began the modern civil rights movement like Medgar Evers after serving in the military and the home front we'll never see the likes of them again. Respect!
