Yea I like it because their music Video Back Stories are relatable, like having imaginary friends. But in reality you are alone and have none because maybe they all died like she said in the video, and they are just in her memories, and the friends showed in the MV were past memories before they were gone.
I think that Ditto is THE BEST MV I've ever heard. cause when Minji said that the ditto mv is about bunnies and nwjns relationship, it's kinda like us and kpop! and we have to step out into the real world. Ban heeso stands for kpop fan, and the boy stands for real life, and newjeans represented kpop! ( I heard this from a youtuber, and it made a lot of sense).

Ditto song is about telling fans not to be too obsessed with kpop idols but have a life too in real world. That its ok to listen to their music, be comforted, have fun but never forget that aside from it, there's another life you should focus on.
OMG song tells the kpop fans that kpop idols are being treated like Siri or an AI robot where they need to fulfill kpop fans' expectations. some kpop fans also treated kpop idols as their therapy from loneliness and deep sadness but the things is, kpop idols are also human, they have feelings unlike Siri, and just like any other human being, they get sad and lonely too and sometimes also need therapy, it's sad story really.
I think Minji manifested as a doctor because she was the one Heesoo relied on the most for comfort, so she imagines her as someone who cares for and helps people.
In illnesses like this, there is often a personality in that role.

One thing I love about nwjns lore is that there isn’t a actually/official storyline. The story is whatever you believe or want the story to be.

I am leaning towards the last theory coz I used to imagine myself to be part of a famous GG when I was young and that we go to school together and hang out like a best friend. In my mind, we were so close that I can call each member by a nickname that only our group knows. I think this is a satire on how delusional KPOP fans can be.
The theory about it representing idols and fans is the one I hear a lot. I can't wait for what's next

*Ditto Theories*
the theory a lot of people were saying about how NewJeans got into an accident, or a car accident, and they all died except for Heesoo which was also there at the time, and so the Ditto mv is about Heesoo feeling bad that she may have guilt from the accident, so she imagines her friends (nwjns) and doesn't want to move on. Another fact that backs up this theory, is that Heesoo had a cast in Ditto, presumably from the accident, and also in the mv, NewJeans writes on her cast things like:
"Don't die"
"Get better soon"
"genius director ban heesoo"
"OMG"
In ditto her love interest is that guy in the mv (sorry i forgot the name of the actor), and probably the reason she was able to break the camera, and move on. He was always the one who notices her, and checks up on her whenever she was alone or crying. Heesoo realized that as much as NewJeans would try to comfort her, they can't. But later she was able to move on from the death of her friends, and now able to go back and rewatch these memories with a smile on her face.
There was also a theory a lot of people said that Heesoo acts as us (kpop fans), NewJeans acts as themselves (kpop idols) and her love interest represents (guy she falls in love with) reality. Heesoo is very lonely, and k-pop was something that "saved her" and NewJeans did. We see Heesoo only with the camera in front of her face, and she only sees NewJeans through the lense of her camera, which, us k-pop fans a lot of the time see k-pop idols just on scree through a camera. NewJeans made her smile, as she was very lonely, and sad, but she ends up realizing that as much as kpop idols (newjeans) will try and comfort her, she needs to go back to reality, and a fact that backs up this theory is the deer. When a deer crosses your path (as does so to Heesoo in the mv), it's a reminder to check in with yourself and make sure you are not living in the past, or in the future, and to realign yourself with the present moment, which for Heesoo, is reality. She crosses this deer twice. In the end, she is able to go back to reality, but when she looks at the past moments with her and newjeans, she does not regret it, and even smiles.
The first Theorie with the accident is the most logical

I think both of the theories could be correct at the same time. With the story of Heesoo not being able to deal with survivors guilt and how she deals with the trauma could be the "base story" to all of it. But I think the relationship with idols and fans could be inspiring thr whole flow of the story and generally could be just an alternative, like a double story.
When I saw the mv of Ditto it was really sad but at the same time the mv is really good

The fact that they broke broke those blackpink records just serves to prove they will be quite popular even popular than groups like AESPA and ITZY and will soon rule 4th gen with their impressive amazing talents
Ditto is a commentary on the Idol/Young Fan relationship, but you left out the Idol's own devastation and disappointment of the imaginary fan/Idol relationship. The comfort/joy/deep friendship that the fan feels from hearing their songs, feeling their presence, imagining being best friends during a difficult time when she needed support. But the fan matures/heals/becomes stronger, recognizes that the Idols aren't real friends, and moves on with her life. Also striking to me (and not mentioned by the narrator), the shot of how hurt/devasted the Idols looked when the fan turned and ran away from them. You have to see the original Ditto MV Part 2 to see these shots, at 0:42, when the fan ran away from them, at 2:34 and 2:38 when the fan left them behind and walked away in the rain alone under her umbrella, the Idols looked confused and devastated. And at 2:44, the shot of the Idols holding each other all alone in the rain, now that the fame has gone and they are forgotten. So, it is not just the fan that has feelings of loss and regret that an imaginary relationship wasn't real. But also the idols, once fame has passed and their fans no longer want to see them perform, are crushed that the fan's love wasn't real either, that it wasn't everlasting love and adoration. Both fans and idols are imagining ideal relationships that just never existed. But the memories of how they felt were real and they appreciate those memories for the rest of their lives. And years later, both the fan and the Idols can listen to an old cd/vhs/whatever, and relive those imaginary happy memories of how they felt in their imaginary loving relationship, maybe appreciating how important that imagined relationship was at their (fan and Idols) time of need.

At the beginning from when they released Attention, which is really amazing song and I really enjoyed it, I didn't like them that much as now to be honest. But after few months I tried to click on Hype Boy MV and I really like this song. When Ditto realesd I missed it and just few days found the song and I can't stop listening Ditto and OMG. I am not big a fan of them, but I can't define the fact that their music is a really masterpiece with deep lyrics, MV and concept so I wish them all the best and I will support them no matter what! Newjeans is a such unique and different group from the others and that's why they are so big name within few months of their debut and their songs are on top of the charts! If that's not called a Newjeans syndrome then in the future will be Newjeans era!

The first Theorie with the accident makes the most sense and is logical.Ban heesoo and her friends were droving in a car and had an accident on a rainy day were they driver hits a deer (thats why heesoo always sees a deer and her friends look sad on the door when it begins to rain). Ban heesoo is the only one that survives this accident and is so traumatized from it, that she sees her dead friends everywhere they been together.
Thats why the writings on her cast also fit this Theorie, newjeans wrote "dont die, get better son"

This made me realize my mental illness is a lot worse than I thought.
Also in omg they sing about how a boy made their life "better" ("now I can never let him go he's right there for me 24", "I'm going crazy right?", "Before I met you boy, everything was pointless"). Kinda feels like the girl is telling the story how her crush helped her through the whole situation.

And what would also confirm the first theory form the video: in 05:09 from the “OMG” MV we can see (for like a second) a guy and a girl holding hands, wearing hospital gowns, with the guy leading the girl. Maybe the guy talked about in the video trying to help Haesoo? (In this scene the other New Jeans members can be seen in the sided so it can’t be them).

Actually there is an actual footage of newjeans that adult hee soo always goes back to. So newjeans was real, so what happened in the ending of omg is that adult hee soo was over working and imaginary minji reminds her that its time to go home then when she got home she rest on the couch and played the tape or footage(memories with her friends new jeans). In ditto its a flashback of her memories and trauma and how she coped up with it. this is what happened
Heesoo and newjeans are best friends in her younger years nwjns is her classmates and its also possible that she is newjeans biggest fan thats why she is always recording them, then one day they'll got in an accident thats why she has a cast and its also possible that the school bus was going to hit the deer and got to an accident and only heesoo was the only one who survived among their friends, the she got traumatized and recieved alot of mental illness, because of the trauma she got admitted to a psychward (omg) for treatment then when she got better she came back from school and for her to cope up because the school reminisce her time with newjeans she records again all the places that reminds her of newjeans then the guy notices her and got interested in her then they got together and hesoo finally have a reason to move on and accepted their deaths. Thats why she left the school raining and newjeans was just watching her leave alone. Then after all those years she became a film maker. That leads to the last footage of omg again. And this story is that you can relate on how newjeans music and fans.

It's been confirmed by the artist it's about the para social relationship between Idol's and their fans, it's not a theory so anything after that is just assuming.
Not really like you, but I think that New Jeans are representing k-pop and Heeso is us (k-pop fans). And the boy is real life what we are trying to avoid, the fawn is our innocence. Side B is showing us to going back to the real world and growing up like the Fawn grew up as a Deer.

In the MV, its heesoo's imagination.
In reality, in the first scene they are in the camera view and ya slap a filter on em', then the next scene when heesoo stops recording and so does the person recording the members, the members go to where they are out the camera view of the person in the background and then they continue recording.

Personally I don’t get the hype around New Jeans. I like a lot of girl groups but the 4th generation girl groups for some reason feel exactly the same and the music sounds to me very bland too. It’s like something is missing and I get bored before the song is even over. I hope things will change in the future and the music will get more interesting.
