Thank you for the questioner and for Tom Das for helping all of us who are suffering as we're witnessing war atrocities.
Maya is in control of this society. I wish GOD WOULD BE in control: we could learn and become free without so much suffering and drama. 😢

I love Tom's response here. And it's challenging. But over and over again I can see how my ego makes war with war. And it's never ending...and still I'll show up to protests, write letters to my representatives and vote etc; show up in ways my heart calls me too. Maybe make less posts on Face Book ha ha
And definitely watch less news and do more inquiry/meditation.

Same here. The suffering is so acute that I felt I was getting sick. I had to stop clicking on the news vids, but it feels like a betrayal from my part. I recently surrendered this atrocity to God and I truly feel much better.

Beautiful video thank you! Can you do a video on the exact opposite topic: A spiritual response to the beautiful parts of Maya? E.g. a hobby that you really love, the joys of parenthood, experiencing beautiful art, petting a cute dog, seeing a pretty sunset, etc…
Unlike the atrocities these beautiful parts of Maya don’t seem to motivate us to turn within. What is the spiritual purpose of the beautiful aspects of Maya? Is it ok to enjoy the beautiful aspects of Maya or does that ensnare us future in the illusion?
