As an atheist and a humanist, I am in awe of the lyrical depth and artisitc expression first of Tuomas and his composition and of course of Floor's and the band's passionate delivery. Christopher Hitchens would have been sipping on his scotch and smilling with this one.
Marko has a really good voice and he can go so high if needed, sing and hold long notes beautifully. Together with Floor they are amazing. But it's not just them, it's the whole band together. A combination of real professional musicians with great songwriting. Every detail is carefully thought. As you have mentioned, it's so great to watch them on the stage. I agree. Thanks for this reaction. It's also nice to watch you enjoying NW.
The tribal element adds to the commentary of the song. Organized religion takes a little criticism in this one. "Every child worthy of a better tale"! You were really feeling this one JVB! Isn't it amazing how many styles Tuomas brings to Nightwish. I think Marko has some part of the writing of the music of this song. Many times the heavier songs involve Marko as a co-writer. Explore anything NIghtwish. Me, I am a Floor fan all the way. Loved it JVB! Also love you ending message. Beautifully stated!

my favorite thing about this show will always be that Floor's parents were there. saw on video of a reunion of her music school classmates. they did a behind the scenes with Floor before and after the show. her mom got emotional seeing her on stage. Floor cried over seeing her mom cry. was so touching.
