Christianity came to Kerala before the Portuguese began proselytizing.
This in fact led to conflicts with the existing Christians who saw themselves as upper caste as opposed to those that the Portuguese were introducing to Christianity who were mostly lower caste. There is a church called the Koonan Kurishu Church right abouts where you are recording in Mattancherry, where the traditional Christians vow to never to submit to the Portuguese.
This and other reasons gave the Portuguese too many enemies and eventually were forced out with the help of the Dutch EIC.

When Muslims started Zorastrian genocides in Iran they ran over to India.
Jews also settled in the western coast of India as refugees.
Hindus, Christians, Sikhs and Buddhists from Afghanistan 🇦🇫 Bangladesh 🇧🇩 and Pakistan 🇵🇰 still taking asylum in India
The Tibetan Buddhist spiritual leader along with thousands of people had come to India to escape from the atrocities done by China government and the Communists.
In 1980's and '90s Lakhs of Tamil speaking people took asylum in India due the atrocities done by Srilankan govt and military.

@@sebinsebastian9404 Israel is an apartheid state who settled on stolen land. That and only that is the problem. The idea that extremist muslims are the problem should be abolished better sooner than later. Religion has nothing to do with this. I recommend you to visit the region and meet some Palestinians who live under a genocidal regime and see if you would still call them extremist instead of the zionists. Kochi jews are not necessarily zionist and the region is not segregated nor colonised by zionists so the situation is incomparable and has yet again nothing to do with “extremist” muslims. If this video point out one thing it is that all religions can live together, when politics is not involved.
