Tracie was my first zoya and I think it is so pretty. It looks like grass covered in dew . I did buy Annie given that’s what everyone calls me. I ordered Lillian and dree too.
Olive Ave Nails I grabbed it while in Walmart. It’s Salon Perfect Plumping Gel (gel effect top coat). I love it. Was happy it worked well with my Zoya polishes. I had a pedicure and The woman kept staring at my nails. I was wearing a pretty KL Polish with the “Salon Perfect” top coat. She couldn’t believe how shiny it was for a regular polish. Dries fast too. I love the squishy plumping effect. There was one polish it didn’t work good with but I can’t remember which polish it was. So go hit up Walmart for this goody. So glad I just randomly picked it up. The word “plumping“ got me.

I really enjoyed seeing your favourite shimmers, now I have more to add to my wishlist :) I always loved holos and shimmers and all sorts of finishes, but lately I have been craving for creams only! And as a result I am finding it hard to wear my indies! Which is crazy! But I think I should just enjoy loving the creams for the time being, I am sure I will be craving indies again before long! I cannot wait to see your video on the top 30 Zoyas!
I think the majority of my Zoyas are shimmers. They make such beautiful ones, they really do! I could sit here and list every zoya shimmer I own because I love them all but I'll just pick my absolute faves: Yara, Skylar, Neeka, Sansa, Julieanne, India & Amira. I've got 2 metallics by Zoya - Marina and Song and they are just gorgeous 😍 I have been wanting Gemma for the longest time but I can't find it anywhere (I'm in the UK) I am determined to find it one day 😂

It was really hard! I think it might be because I haven't worn nearly as many of Zoya's shimmers as I have creams so I had a smaller pool to pick from :)
@@OliveAvePolish i tend to gravitate towards cooler purples for some reason I think it has something to do with my skin tone (i.e. i own both finley and aurora but I tend to reach for finley more), zoya seriously make the best metalics I've ever seen, can't wait for their new collection! Thank you for taking the time to make your videos (they've really helped me find some underrated zoyas).
Since you asked, lilac = more pink. Lavender = more blue. I remember because both the word pink and the word lilac have i's in them them. For lavender, I just think of the song that goes, "Lavender's blue, dilly dilly..." Just a little mnemonic device that I hope helps others!
Really? I had it just the opposite- lilac is generally more blue toned and lavender is more pink (not that nail polish names are a great ref but thinking Essie lilacism and OPI do you lilac it? are more blue tones versus OPI lucky lucky lavender). Either way, great video! I’m just added Aster & Haruko to my Earth Day cart (love purple! Can’t wait for your purple series!)
Hi Nima, I think that OPI and Essie are the ones who got it wrong. Nowadays we can Google just about anything, which is what I did to finally settle this issue in my mind! Not that it's of worldwide importance, but I enjoy color theory and kind of want to get the details right. ;)
@@cat_623 I see! its confusing especially because the colors of the actual flowers vary (particularly lilac can be either blue or pink toned)! well at least I'm not the only one confused since OPI got it wrong too lol. Goood question. I think it is a little more purple than a traditional indigo but the shimmer definitely makes it look warmer which may be what is making me say that!

Gemma is my favorite. I just found a topcoat that brings out the shimmer wonderfully.
