@@DanielDeLeon69Like Adam explained The Nexus was hot and had a lot of superstar power. Making them lose on their first match to John Cena after being almost invincible was a terrible decision.
The strangest thing to me about the Jinder vs Shinsuke thing was that the solution to the problem was right there on the go home Smackdown. They'd clearly decided to take the MITB case off Corbyn so why not have him try to pull off his own 'heist of the century' after being humiliated by Cena earlier in the night? He comes out, makes it a triple threat and Shinsuke kicks out of both the Khallas and the End of Days. As a triple threat, there's now no DQ so the Singhs are free to interfere more and Corbyn's pinned for Jinder to retain.
Because Corbin got in trouble for getting in a fight with his doctor about concussions so they pulled his plug because that's what wrestlers get for going Kanye West. Also you mispelled Corbin.
Also Corbin was still in his "NO ONE KICKS OUT OF MY FINISHER EVER" phase of his career. So Shinsuke kicking out of the End of Days is out of the question. Now that's easily worked around by having the Singh brothers interfere and break up the pin, but WWE do the easy booking thing sounds like the complete opposite of most WWE bookings in the last decade pre-HHH being named Head of Creative. Edit: The only true solution to the Jinder vs Shinsuke thing is to just not do it. I don't mean don't do Jinder as WWE Champion (though I agree that shouldn't have been done either) but I mean the feud itself. Let Shinsuke feud with other heels, who aren't literally experiments who have to win at all costs, and build himself up as a credible contender on the main roster first. WWE was making the mistake that the main roster watched NXT, when statistically about 70% of the people who watched the main roster didn't so had no idea who any of them were.

I will stand by this once and only once. Triple H in 99 NEEDED THAT Win. That is probably a key point in why he was so protective of his spot on the card. It wasn't right but it is understandable. Being squashed by Ultimate Warrior and being made to wait a day for your coronation into the WWE Championship scene....yeah that makes sense.
John Cena Vs seth Rollins summerslam 2015 was the worst ending to a match in summerslam history Cena should have won that match John stewert ruined everything Cena would have made history it was the dumbest decision ever made
Cena losing is alway good. Instead of him “making history” an actually talented wrestler got to do it. Cena lost, and one of the best guys wwe has had in decades gets the victory. It’s a win-win for everyone .
As someone that mostly watched wcw instead of wwe in the late 90s, i legitimately wondered sometimes if billy Kidman straight up didnt want to take a powebomb he countered the damn move so much.
The US Title match is gonna happen at the go-home Smackdown before SummerSlam anyway, thus crowning LA Knight Champion on a Smackdown episode people are probably gonna forget is not fitting of a megastar-on-the-rise as Knight. He should win the title at Clash at the Castle or Survivor Series probably.
The Nexus at SummerSlam 2010 is easily the biggest foul-up WWE has ever done at the show and is well deserving of its place a top this list. When you have Edge and Chris Jericho, two legends of the ring who competed in this match, saying the finish was a bad idea, you know you’ve done fucked up. It wouldn’t have been that hard to do a finish where The Nexus wins dirty, and that was probably the original plan, but Super Cena’s ego wouldn’t allow it. The way I would’ve done it is like this. As it did in real life, the match comes down to 2-on-1 of Cena versus Barrett and Gabriel. In the closing sequence Gabriel has Cena down in position for the 450. Gabriel climbs to the top rope for the 450 with Barrett recouping on the floor after taking a bit of offense from Big Match John. As Gabriel starts to stand up on the top rope to go for the 450, Cena, in a burst of energy, stands up and hits the top rope, crotching Justing Gabriel on the top turnbuckle. As Cena is getting his wits about him, Wade Barrett slides on to the apron and tags Gabriel in view of the ref but not Cena and drops back to the floor out of view. John takes Gabriel on his shoulders from the top rope, plants him with an AA and goes for the cover. The ref taps Cena on the shoulder and tells him Gabriel isn’t the legal man. Wade Barrett slides in the ring as Cena stands up. As the ref is getting Gabriel out of the ring, Wade Barrett nails Cena in the face as he turns around with a brass knuckles loaded right hand. Barrett slides the knuckles in his trunks while the ref isn’t looking. He takes a limp Cena on to his shoulders and spikes him with Wasteland. Cover. 1-2-3. The other Nexus members come out to celebrate with Barrett and Gabriel and the show ends with the victorious Nexus standing over the prone body of John Cena.

I have to cry foul here. Anybody who puts Summer Slam in front of the Royal Rumble in order of importance is wrong. WRONG! 1) WrestleMania 2) Royal Rumble 3 & 4) Summer Slam/MITB (either/or) 5) Survivor Series
Talking about the mistakes is fine but I want to talk about 10 best summerslam main event matches please don’t throttle me for excluding any matches from the 90’s I haven’t seen them 10. John cena vs Randy orton 2007 9. Seth Rollins vs brock lesnar 2019 8. John cena vs cm punk 2011 (Kevin nash ending was still stupid) 7. Brock lesnar vs Roman reigns 2022 6. The rock vs brock lesnar 2002 5. John cena vs Daniel Bryan 2013 4. Lesnar vs joe vs strowman vs reigns 2017 3. Randy orton vs Chris Benoit 2004 2. Edge vs undertaker 2008 1. Jeff Hardy vs. Cm punk 2009
I think I was the only one that loved John Cena vs Randy for the title at Summerslam. I was so tired of watching super Cena get crammed down my throat it was nice to watch Randy get over on Cena 3 times and each time there was real tension because you just knew Cena was going to be champion soon and since he didn’t come in with the title he was probably going to leave with it but he didn’t and I loved it lol
Everytime Adam brings this match, I'll do the same, rumors are that Goldberg was difficult to work with and he refused to go to a veteran or army shows they use to do and Vince did this as a punishment for Bill
Jinder beating shinsuke ruined the show for me no joke I was actually crying afterwards I didn’t even enjoy the main event as much. It still baffles me that people still try to make arguments for this horseshit of a title reign his matches sucked and he was given the title because A: they were doing business in India And B: Vince loves big muscly men I’m all for giving new guys a chance but you have to build them up at least when drew McIntyre became wwe champion he was already an established talent that people wanted to see long before he won the royal rumble or became the Scottish psychopath jinder had nothing
Apparent Hot Take: Nexus shouldn't have won because they didn't have enough talent to actually continue carrying the story. Barrett was okay at best, no one else was really good. They would've lost steam soon regardless.
The Brock-Orton thing I'm convinced was changed on the day because of McGregor's "wrestlers are pussies" tweet. Tons of them were biting on it all weekend, that was Vince's unofficial bite.

But instead you have the guy who never taps out, tap to not get seen by the ref and cause all this awkward confusion. Also Cena really should have listened to Jericho and Edge about letting the Nexus win.
09:01: "WOOOOOO! No way man, I'm gonna keep partyin' on forever! Forever! Forever. Forever...forever..."
I actually did think Shadow Legends when Adam said "Raid"....lol 😂😂😂
As someone that mostly watched wcw instead of wwe in the late 90s, i legitimately wondered sometimes if billy Kidman straight up didnt want to take a powebomb he countered the damn move so much.
Number 1: not having LA Knight win the US title as SS 2023.
Ngl I'm sick of the Nexus story. That group had only Justin Gabriel and Daniel Brian as decent wrestlers.
Daniel Bryan wasn't even in the Nexus, he was only there for one day before he got released.
@@unholyperiodza5442 i meant first complete nexus. My point still stands.
@@VeRG1L_47 Least DB found success after month of jobbing out on NXT and getting Usopp levels of injuries
@partsFUNknown, please do a list of greatest Wrestlemania rematches at Summerslam (Bret/Owen cage, Taker/Edge HIAC, Shawn/Razor ladder, etc.)
...Casual entertainment what a hammer is to a goose. Beverage came out of my nose. Thank you
Edge and Jericho wants the Nexus to win but Cena. Lol. Hahahah
12:03 - Adam's hate never ends... 😂
Mobile - Mobile Home
RPG - Mobile Home in Texas with some series weaponry
Raid - Mobile Home in Texas with some series weaponry and an insect infestation :).
3:55 damn 😂
WWE legends and R-Truth😂
Surprised Kevin Nash screwing over CM Punk didn’t make the list
“6 WWE legends & R-Truth.”
I see Adam’s hate for Truth is still strong.
lol
I have to cry foul here. Anybody who puts Summer Slam in front of the Royal Rumble in order of importance is wrong. WRONG!
1) WrestleMania
2) Royal Rumble
3 & 4) Summer Slam/MITB (either/or)
5) Survivor Series
The most over booked match in history. I thought adam was talking about one of his own booking fantasies
8:00 Aaah, magnifique! *chef's kiss*
Three one on one title defences at Summerslam? I guess we've finally found Mr. Summerslam!
Don't think I missed that sly reference to the official duration of Goldberg's WCW winning streak
Someone should really do top 10 people who tryed to powerbowb Billy Kidman but failed 😅
Talking about the mistakes is fine but I want to talk about 10 best summerslam main event matches please don’t throttle me for excluding any matches from the 90’s I haven’t seen them
10. John cena vs Randy orton 2007
9. Seth Rollins vs brock lesnar 2019
8. John cena vs cm punk 2011 (Kevin nash ending was still stupid)
7. Brock lesnar vs Roman reigns 2022
6. The rock vs brock lesnar 2002
5. John cena vs Daniel Bryan 2013
4. Lesnar vs joe vs strowman vs reigns 2017
3. Randy orton vs Chris Benoit 2004
2. Edge vs undertaker 2008
1. Jeff Hardy vs. Cm punk 2009
I will always hate Cena for killing Nexus at Summerslam 2010
I think I was the only one that loved John Cena vs Randy for the title at Summerslam. I was so tired of watching super Cena get crammed down my throat it was nice to watch Randy get over on Cena 3 times and each time there was real tension because you just knew Cena was going to be champion soon and since he didn’t come in with the title he was probably going to leave with it but he didn’t and I loved it lol
That's future Hall of Famer R-Truth to you sir!
Oh hey! It's the Plumpy times again!
R-Truth is a WWE legend
Everytime Adam brings this match, I'll do the same, rumors are that Goldberg was difficult to work with and he refused to go to a veteran or army shows they use to do and Vince did this as a punishment for Bill
I'm a bit surprised Becky Lynch squashing Bianca Belair didn't make this list.
Man... I still can't believe he's gone.
Triple H managing to somehow make him being injured a reason to keep the belt on him and not put over goldberg is masterful wrestling carny bs
I probably wouldnt notice the lower quality audio if it didn't follow up the high quality audio from the Raid ad.
not sure why the audio sounds so off here, but Adam definitely sounds different than normal. His ad spot sounds way better than the rest of the video.
12:10 R Truth disrespect will not be tolerated. He is a legend because he has won the most championships in WWE history
tfw Raid that Raid actually makes sense.
Thing is tho, I will never forget that Randy and Brock finish. So if that was the goal, fair enough. Crazy Randy was willing to risk that much
Any decision involving Kevin Nash is never good.
"6 WWE Legends and R-Truth"
That's a weird way to spell "and John Morrison"
You should do a top 10 list of matches that you most talk about/ matches you are never going to mention again.
Isn't Royal Rumble bigger than Summerslam?
That thumbnail is really something when you stare at it for long enough
Jinder beating shinsuke ruined the show for me no joke I was actually crying afterwards I didn’t even enjoy the main event as much. It still baffles me that people still try to make arguments for this horseshit of a title reign his matches sucked and he was given the title because
A: they were doing business in India
And
B: Vince loves big muscly men
I’m all for giving new guys a chance but you have to build them up at least when drew McIntyre became wwe champion he was already an established talent that people wanted to see long before he won the royal rumble or became the Scottish psychopath jinder had nothing
Summerslam the party of the summer
Apparent Hot Take: Nexus shouldn't have won because they didn't have enough talent to actually continue carrying the story. Barrett was okay at best, no one else was really good. They would've lost steam soon regardless.
I still occasionally think of Brock caving Randy's head in around this time
Truth IS A LEGEND
Wasn't actually a fan that interrupted the Orton/Cena match btw, was an as of yet unnamed Ted DiBiase Jr.
Six WWE legends and R -truth lol😂😂😂 man he needs to leave R-truth alone it was still hilarious tho
The Brock-Orton thing I'm convinced was changed on the day because of McGregor's "wrestlers are pussies" tweet. Tons of them were biting on it all weekend, that was Vince's unofficial bite.
Wasn't the "fan" at Summerslam 09 Ted Dibiase Jr's little bro?
Alexa has only won one match at the event and the biggest fail was how she was fed to ronda which was a crime
Don't forget Eva Marie as that match was predictable
jinder beating nakamura should never have happened
However bad The Great Kali was, Giant Gonzales was infinitely worse.
I really miss the days of the "Big 4" and the long sell storyline....
finn balor is like randy’s age.
Why am I the only one noticing Adam sounding like he's recording inside of a box?
