Good video i put balljoint into arm then thread into hub much easier than trying to pry arm down onto thread of balljoint

If you room the two bolt out from the bottom of the shocker where the hub fits it’s 100% easier to refit the ball joint then reattach the hub to the strut

The reason why the 1st bolt, centre arm, is pointing down is, if the nut comes undone, the bolt won't fall out. Safety first. 😉

Hi. Me from Merseyside again! Another Informative video on any forthcoming (front) brake issues on my daughters 3008.
I was surprised that the front calliper's just needed pushing back and not winding back as on the rear brakes ????

      Hi Norman!
Glad you are finding the videos useful.
All front brake calipers are just push in pistons. Some cars rear calipers are push in too (depending on the type of brake setup).
Winding back calipers is only required if the handbrake cable attaches to the caliper. As the handbrake element of it screws out to "auto adjust" as the pads wear.

You need to invest in an engineer's hammer, claw hammers are for property maintenance 🤣🤣🤣

Does a faulty ball joint cause the car to switch on ESP error ?

Way cheaper to buy bushings and press into the wishbone.

      Thank you for your comment.
      That's very true!
However if a customer has to pay for my time it doesn't work out much cheaper.
Part will be cheaper but theres more labour time/cost involved messing about with bushes.
Fitting a new arm also means you can forget about the other bush failing or the wishbone itself corroding for a few years.
So if you are paying a mechanic to do the job it's much better value to replace the whole wishbone.

Its not that much more expensive to buy the whole thing and far less agro .

You talk to much instead of showing how you do it.
