We just got our LG fridge today but we don't have the water inlet valve part, which I find very strange when it has the ice cubes/water function. We have the wireless LAN Module (LCW-010).
This should be more obvious in you installation guide... especially after I spent an hour peeling away protective tape and magnetic plastic from everywhere... (still have to do the freezer drawers yet! 🤯) So... seriously a simple arrow on a piece of tape or plastic wrap would be nice.
Apologies. Sometimes videos assist the user better than a written manual, but either way the instructions should always be clear. The latest filter have a water drop instead of an arrow, with the point directing to the water tap side and the rounding of the drop towards the refrigerator.

Depends if the valve assembly threading is damaged. If so and you do not wish to completely exchange the valve assembly, you may be covered by taping the water hose on the back instead of locking it with the nut, of course at own risk. Otherwise replacing the valve is the only option.
you need the water pipe that was supplied with the box, together with the water tap connector. When all is connected you can simply start using it. It is advised to flush the system by tapping and throwing away a few liters of water before using it.

The direction does not matter. Officially it's stated that the point of the water drop on the filter should point in the direction of the refrigerator, but the filter structure is universal (direction-wise).
The instructions I downloaded from LG state the copper tubing or PEX tubing should be 1/4 inch OD. All the PEX tubing for potable water that I found are sized by nominal sizes. So if If you add 1/8 inch to a nominal size to get 1/4 inch OD you need a 1/8 inch nominal size tube. These don't exist. What I found was Polyethylene (as opposed to cross-linked polyethylene - PEX) tubing at Home Depot with an OD of 1/4 inch. The color is a translucent white that does not match the video. The store's website states that "Potable Water" is an application of this tubing. What are the precise specs of the tubing used in the video? Have people used Polyethylene? Any clarification would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a model with or without water tank? A model with tank has a pump and there may be some air trapped in the waterline, causing the water flow to get blocked. In that case, check out: th-cam.com/video/v717fdagVbQ/w-d-xo.html. If you have a plumbing model, it might be a valve that is stuck, or a clogged filter, or. Other than that it's an open connection and if you get water from the tap there is not much else to advise then to get a technician visit.

Should I feel suction from the disconnected hoses while trying to dispense? Not sure which connector you mean, but I think you mean the lock nut. We do not communicate part number in our comments, because they may be different depending on the model you have. Please check with tour local LG support center.
The water hose should normally be supplied in case you have an external water connection appliance. If not, I would advise you to first consult your local LG support channel.

You could, but you do need a certain water pressure, as indicated in the manuals. In case the owners manual does not contain this info, you may want to consult your local LG Helpdesk.
Dear, there can be numerous causes for this: a closed water tap, a kinked tube, .. do you hear a sound when pressing the lever? I suggest you contact your local LG support channels to get this solved.

@@KhangNghi according to the manual it may be due to something in the pipe that's blocking it, could even be a build up of calcium. try blowing through the pipe at the rear? use a toothpick to ensure the inlet and outlet doesn't have anything stuck in it.

If you connect it to hot water, you will for sure make the cooling process go off. the lines go through the freezer part (isolated) but still imagine 60 degrees Celsius in the Freezer, that is continuous Defrost

Please specify what exactly you mean. The filter goes between the water tap on one side and on the waterline connection on the appliance on the other side.

Not sure what your question is, there is 1 part that goes into the refrigerator and the other part has a connector that goes onto the water tap.

No, unfortunately not. The main electronics are not designed to treat is as plumbed model, since your unit has a tank, pump and additional valves.
