Came across this video while training for this year's Chicago marathon. I just needed something to watch during my off-season treadmill runs and this was just what the doctor ordered. You, guys, are adorable. Please keep the content coming.
That's so exciting! Congrats on your first 10 Miler!!! And yes, doing races is very addictive! haha I've done so many now that I've lost count. lol I will say that if you're looking for your first marathon to run, I highly recommend either the Disney World Marathon or the Chicago Marathon. They're so much fun, the crowds cheering are amazing, and the courses are awesome:)
Great video! Looks like they have you running through a lot of extended underpasses as the beginning, which is cool. I just got into Chicago for next year on my second lottery attempt, so I'm looking forward to it.

@@passporttorun Good luck in New York! I ran NY in 2019. I got lucky because it was just my second attempt via the lottery, just like Chicago. I tried to make the NY trip as cheap as possible, so I stayed at a hotel in Flushing, Queens.
@@scottfulton267 Thank you! Oh nice! I got in by doing the virtual 2021 with guaranteed in person 2022 with Team for Kids. I've got a hotel by the finish line. New York is probably one of my favorite cities so I'm super excited to run through it! :)

@@passporttorun she says maybe once a year with shorter distances in between . She finished in something over 4 hours. She was able to get a place through the lottery.

It wasn't too bad! We have a hydration vest to hold the gimbal when we aren't filming so we don't have to carry it the whole time. Just make sure your gimbal isn't too heavy! Go ahead and record though! Even if you don't upload, it's great to have the memories!

Perhaps my favorite video I've seen. I truly felt like I was running with you. I'm in the Chicago Marathon for my first this year and this was inspirational.
So dope! This was my first Marathon, unfortunately I started getting blisters around mile 8/9. I thought about quitting because the pain was horrible. My feet were telling my to stop, but my heart told me to keep going! Mile 19 in Pilsen brought me to life! What a humbling experience. I can’t wait to get back out there next year. Great job and keep it up!
Great job! Brings me back to memory lane. My 1st ever marathon was the last Chicago marathon in 2019, that day was cold mostly in the 40s. I would've love to run this one as I trained during the warm weather!
Thank you! And I used a GoPro 7 as my camera. I did use my Samsung Galaxy S10E for a little video too. Also used a gimbal for the camera. And you should! I'm so happy that we started recording our races and travels. It's like walking down memory lane :)

lucky that you can just travel and do marathons, im doing a marathon in may, but you are lucky you do back to back marathons just travelling
