Shes the first and only MACloid to be adapted to Vocaloid. (There are only a few MACloids) Shes not an UTAU, Utaus are made for Utauloid originally and she was made for a MAC project but was then adopted by Vocaloid.
After ACT2 crashed, shortly after the release of the first versions of all the MacLoids but MacNe Petit) Whisper Angel Sasayaki-San, MacNe started, they made oto tutorials and from then on, with purchase, you also got the oto for Coco white, Coco black, MacNe Nana S2, MacNe Petit S2 and both CV (free and bought) and the one VCV version of (MacNe Petit) Whisper Angel Sasayaki-San! The shop's been closed for a few months but Sasayaki-san Free is still available! Her Oto is perfect for Vocaloid users who can't stop messing with Velocities, her pre-utterance is absolutely insane, it's really fun to mess with! >W< You pay with a tweet or FaceBook like! XD So in all technicalities, they're all GarageBand and UTAU vocals except Papa and Nana S1! >w< Though, her S2 Oto works fine with S1 and Papa has an oto circulating somewhere, but you can always make one, I suppose! >W< I'd love it if Papa became a Vocaloid though, he's so amazing! :D I dunno if they'd keep that nice effect on his samples for recording a Vocaloid set, though :(
The thing that I like about the MACloids is that even though they're a bit choppy, the individual syllables themselves sound way more real than the Vocaloids. Just gotta work on that choppiness xD
I just love how everyone is raising their "I use a Mac" flag of pride when this song was made with HER UTAU VOICE BANK. Way to read the description everyone. =w=b
I didn't know Macne Nana existed, I first found out about her in a voice comparison for vocaloids and their voice providers. This song played and immediately I wanted to hear the full thing, and afterwards Macne Nana became my favourite vocaloid.
This is by far the best Meltdown cover (for me) and the second song i heared from Vocaloid hahaha, the fact that she was used on UTAU here amaze me, oh... Old times
even though she is a derivative, she has a quality close to vocaloid, and is on sale, together with the rest of macloids, so she is considerated by many as vocaloid, it's just your viewpoint
@DUSKvsDAWN Actually, she is. She's just a VOCALOID designed for Mac systems as opposed to the typical VOCALOID2 program. She is classed as a VOCALOID though, and she's produced by a company, which pretty much makes her official :)
The thing is Macne Nana becomes part of vocaloid during 2014, as a vocaloid 3 engine, but this video upload time is like the year when Macne Nana release (2009) , at that time she is just a garageband plugin, not a vocaloid
@Ninjisy well, she IS official, but not vocaloid - she is classified as macloid because, she isnt run with vocaloid software from yamaha. she has a given voicebank that cant be purchased and used in garageband.
I know that. She can be converted, but she is intended to be used in the GarageBand software. I never said she wasn't compatible with UTAU, I saidshe wasn't compatible with the VOCALOID software.
She can be converted to UTAU since her samples are in WAV. you'd just have to make it compatible with UTAU by making the oto.ini files. so, basicly windows users can use her to, if they have the converted voicebank. I use Nana to and i have a windows 7 computer =w=
@BlackButlerKURO @picoXchico001 @Emzloids OKAY. let me just ensure you understand. She is not a VOCALOID. Vocaloids were given their name due to the fact that they are used on Yamaha's Vocaloid software. Macne Nana, Coco, Puchi, ect. are all company made voice banks (so yes, it can be somehow used with UTAU) with a ".wav" file for every sound in the japanese language. It is used by simply using those collections of files (a voice bank) and using it in UTAU or using individually in GarageBand.
Don't fret, I wasn't particularly bothered about it honestly. I was just replying to a comment someone posted about her being a 'VOCALOID' which she isn't.
Well technically, she isn't supposed to be an UTAU, Her sounds were imported into UTAU from garageband, but I think that was what you were basically saying, so please ignore this if that is what you were saying.
with garageband its harder to use because you need to change the pitch manually and its rather tedious making it sounds weird. UTAU however you just need to put the phoneme on the right place. But you need to type it in Hiragana, which you have a mac so you just change the keyboard settings. In my opinion i find UTAU easier than Garageband. I have tried both of them. Oh! and the Macne family interface on garageband is all in japanese. So i'd go for UTAU. Hope that helps!
@mokana713 im not trying to be mean. but, dont be wrong and call someone a "dumdum" when they know what they're talking about. sorry if it sounded harsh. and plus vocaloid JUST released a website due to vocaloid3 coming out. check it out!
speaking of language, do any spanish speakers catch that lyric that sounds like "bailar"? I know this song isn't about dancing, but it's always funny when lyrics in one language sound like something else in another language. :)
So, what's the difference between using Garage Band and using UTAU? I was thinking about getting UTAU, but I already have Garage Band. Is UTAU better in any way? I would really like to know, especially since I can't speak Japanese and garage band is in English already.
Wait, I'm sorry I'm not hip, but Nana's being turned in to a vocaloid?! Oh, I'm sorry, I- I shouldn't of said anything *Avoids object being thrown*. (-.-")

MacStar L The people that think that Macne Nana is an UTAU are confusing her with Macne Nana 2s, although technically they're the same thing.
Thank you! I was hoping someone would say that!
The thing that I like about the MACloids is that even though they're a bit choppy, the individual syllables themselves sound way more real than the Vocaloids.

she might be one of my fav vocaloid now

I love how I’m scrolling through all these comments from 8 years ago then there’s a single comment from five hours ago
@@inkyq3558 Lol, ikr, I still love vocaloid, also btw I'm a boy, a teen boy :3
Dude why is she so underrated
I didn't know Macne Nana existed, I first found out about her in a voice comparison for vocaloids and their voice providers. This song played and immediately I wanted to hear the full thing, and afterwards Macne Nana became my favourite vocaloid.
I’m still watching this to this day
I'm lucky, I have a Mac and Garageband... Perfect for downloading Nana's voicebank. :p
:^)
I have the Nana Garageband Voice Bank but I don't have a Mac
@@Whispear Can you give me the vb???
@@yxles I lost the VB when I deleted some archives from my pc, I'm really sorry for that
@@Whispear Its ok
She's being turning into a Vocaloid, right? I'm curious how that will sound... She'll be the first UTAU to become a Vocaloid.
this is my favorite version of meltdown the others are good but i love this, Macne blends very well with the music nice work
this is the best macne nana japanese song!
Meltdown is originally sung by Rin Kagamine.
This is by far the best Meltdown cover (for me) and the second song i heared from Vocaloid hahaha, the fact that she was used on UTAU here amaze me, oh... Old times
I like this better than rins version
i seriously love nana. she needs more attention and songs!!
THUMBS WHO USES A MAC!
dedicates this song to macs :3
God I miss Nana's old voice
My favorite vocaloid!!
even though she is a derivative, she has a quality close to vocaloid, and is on sale, together with the rest of macloids, so she is considerated by many as vocaloid, it's just your viewpoint

This is the first song I’ve heard of her without other vocaloids lol she kinda sounds like Rimiki teto but less rimiki and softer
I'm becoming more of a Macne Nana fan now. :3
This is great!
i swear to god, the chorus in this sounds better than it does in any other version of this song
I love this version!! Meltdown is one of my favorite Vocaloid songs, but I don't like the original, so I love seeing great covers like this one! ^_^
Love it
She sounds like a vocaloid!!1!11!!!1
um because she is a vocaloid.........
+Kitty Miku i know omg XD it's a joke because of how everyone makes fun of macne for not being considered a vocaloid in the past lmao
ahhh makes sense then lol sorry
well by the fact that when this video was uploaded (2009), Macne Nana was not part of Vocaloid YET
The thing is Macne Nana becomes part of vocaloid during 2014, as a vocaloid 3 engine, but this video upload time is like the year when Macne Nana release (2009) , at that time she is just a garageband plugin, not a vocaloid
Macloid's and VOCALOID's are to different things. Macloid's run on Garage band/UTAU while VOCALOID's run on the VOCALOID software.
Wow singing this song brings out the soprano in me
What Gumi sounds like when she's drunk.
this isn't Gumi....
nana's voice is too hard and robot-ish(in a way) for this. Don't see it...doesn't really sound like her...
DragonCat bitch you is dumb lean how to read
Someone help him or her
No just no
this is the first version I've actually liked as much as Rin's, most excelent!
She's becoming a VOCALOID. So excited. ^^
Have you heard Nekomura?
@Ninjisy well, she IS official, but not vocaloid - she is classified as macloid because, she isnt run with vocaloid software from yamaha. she has a given voicebank that cant be purchased and used in garageband.
WOW she has the clearest vocals of any UTAU I have heard.
well besides Teto....yeah
And Renri, she's clear as hell
@Espy-Repairs idk Tanjiro Taidana makes her have very clear vocals
@Espy-Repairs then you'll have to check out Tanjiro's channel then. He's probably the best tuning of Teto whether it's utau or her new synthv
@Espy-Repairs then you're just gonna have to check out his channel instead of doing all this "I think" stuff
@SuperTuskafka yeah, but they are sometimes classified as boukaloids and voyakiloids too. most refer to them as fanloids and pitchloids though.
I know that. She can be converted, but she is intended to be used in the GarageBand software. I never said she wasn't compatible with UTAU, I saidshe wasn't compatible with the VOCALOID software.

No they aren't related at all, the Macne utaus are just utaus made originally for the software on Mac called Garageband...
She's a plugin for Garageband, she doesn't work in the Vocaloid software. Trust me, by now I've managed to memorise the Vocaloids.
@BlackButlerKURO @picoXchico001 @Emzloids OKAY. let me just ensure you understand. She is not a VOCALOID. @AleyraTV She sounds better than most vocaloids. This is amazing how realistic it can sound. So is Macne Nana only for Mac computers?
I must say i'm very impressed! O.O :D
Ah well, Not only Garage band but apple loops and others as well! Oh and i didnt mean to offend you, i just wanted to point it out! ^^
Hold on one second, correct me if I am wrong but I was told that Steve Jobs came up with Macne or something. In not positive so please correct me!
So sweet
why does she sound like an ocarina........Link, why are you playing the ocarina, you should be saving the world
Meltdown is Rin's song, the orther just sing it when don't have song to sing, Rin sing this song is the best
Ironic how im listening to a smartphone on a smartphone.

Well technically, she isn't supposed to be an UTAU, Her sounds were imported into UTAU from garageband, but I think that was what you were basically saying, so please ignore this if that is what you were saying.
I think this ish my fav. version right nao :3
Dear japan we have found the next vocaloid

Am I the only one who thinks that every voice fits this song, except Rin's voice? ._."
yes, yes u r.
@ColorfullyCutiex3
Emm... You know both Haku and Neru are fanloids and pitchloids from Miku (or sometimes Rin), right? -3-
@xAuroraLightsx She's not a UTAU, she's a MACneloid :3
@FuegoZorro7 But if someone who had a windows bought it anyway, then put it on utau, it would still be legal.
@picoXchico001 she isnt a vocaloid. she is an utau
Okay, thanks so much for telling me :)
@mokana713 im not trying to be mean. but, dont be wrong and call someone a "dumdum" when they know what they're talking about. sorry if it sounded harsh. and plus vocaloid JUST released a website due to vocaloid3 coming out. check it out!

@EC52998
haha dont be to mean on them- and your right, even Yamaha doesnt have one

@SweetofStars Dont forget the stupid: Pitchloids, Genderloids, Fanloids.
AND THE AWESOME: Boukaloid (yowane haku) and voyakilioid (akita neru) XD
It's more like aaaaaaa
I can truthfully say she sounds better and more realistic than Rin singing this song. Maybe something about the tone?...
@picoXchico001 huh i wrote that and removed it, why did it still show up? yeah i know she is a macloid but at the moment i was thinking utau
Excuse me but HOLYSHITTHISISAMAZING.
she sounds like a vocaloid in the beginning.
its because she is
i know this is a joke
Technically, she now is a Vocaloid
Same here.
I made nana my wallpaper get cuz I have a iPhone and she’s a iPhone never mind for get it
@rainstainn I'm a Windows user, and I really couldn't care less. Besides, you can't play awesome games on Macs. :D
